You would have to ask a hairdresser. If it's real hair, then I think that it can be treated like real hair, just deader.
I don't know how much that would cost. Why get extensions?
Anyway, I think that having your own hair is good enough. But, hehehe, that's just me.

    No offense meant :-)

They can cost anywhere from £100 upwards - and make sure you do your homework before getting them. Phone around loads of different salons. Don't go with one because it's the cheapest - go for the one you feel most comfortable with.

If you are using real hair, you can straighten and blow dry as normal. You can't with synthetic. They'll melt.

they usually cost about 150$... but that depends of the length of the hair extensions.

"I told a girl to enjoy life and that sometimes you just have to "let your hair down"....so she took it off, I guess it was an extended courtesy....."

^Lmao, Bob, you are truly hilarious.

"why can't people be themselves and be proud of who they are as well as who they aren't"

^ I often wonder the same thing.

My friend Jessica has cancer and was going bald like 6 months ago...it was breaking her heart...how she had to try to pass out excuses when people stupidly asked her why she had a bald spot. And what was the worst part about it was that, the ignorant people who didn't like her, used that to make fun of her.

In the middle of class they would say,
"At least I'm not bald at 15."
And one day, she just stood up in the class, crying and told everyone why she didn't have hair like everyone else did....that she wanted it more than anything but for some reason couldn't have it.

The next day she came to school with a full head of hair.

Her friend paid for it...it wasn't a wig, I don't think. It was hair extensions. I've never seen her soooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy as she did when she went to school like that.

Thank the lord for hair extensions. lol
