Lonely Sleeper

With the glow of his soul waning at each moment's breath, he stood alone in front his mirror and muttered aloud,

"I am but a man. How can she, but a woman, wound me so deeply? I must be in love!"

And, with that said, he dragged his body, now cumbersome with feelings of morose and anguish, to his bed. Solitary and confined by the walls of his mind, he lived; solitary and confined by the walls of his room, he slept.

im sorry but i forgot one rule! it has to be a new poem. ive read your poem before top sloth.

My Sacrifice
:Jenna Elphick.

A man, in all simplicity, sitting at the corner coffee shop,
he looks out the frosted window in the commotion of the busy morning,
twiddling his thumbs as faces come and go,
his cheeks a rosy red and his eyes a teary mess,
i see his pain, and i feel his mistakes.
And i often wonder if a broken heart can still beat,
for i can feel his heartbeat within my soul.
He stops and looks up at the counter,
a lady, dressed in black stops in for a bite to eat.
Beautiful blond hair, sky blue eyes, and perfect smile.
She looks over at him, a moments glimpse;
then tosses her coins lightly on the counter.
He watches her leave, and knows in his heart he lost her.
Every day he sits there, waiting for her to return,
and then he comes home to me, a disappointment,
and i will not say anything, i will swallow my words.
'Cause the first time i saw him smile,
was when she smiled at him that day in the corner cafe,
and i let him know I'm happy with him,
day after day and night after night,
i would sacrifice a slashed heart for his happiness,
because i would do anything, to keep that smile on his perfect face.

The Mold

The night’s stars twinkle for you and me,
Glittery whiteness screaming we should be.
The mold we’ve created should only fill up,
But instead our love remains an unfilled cup.

I love you AJ, please come to my arms,
I need you to love and save me from harm.
These tears are starting to stain my face,
Without you here I want to give in life’s race.

The fire burning in my heart is just for you,
Please take it (don’t break it) and see it through.
You’ll see love shining through, the fire won’t go out,
So please just one shot, if it fails, sure I’ll pout.

But I can say that you loved me, it’s all I need,
I can move on with life and finally succeed.
But as long as the mold remains unfilled,
Don’t leave me alone, or love will be killed.

Ten reasons ain't enough to express
The true piety my heart have for you

Father
Barbecues on a hot summer day
Escaping quickly into the cold pool
Telling jokes with Gatorade in hand
Engaged into a wise crack duel

Fun vacations planned for a week or so
Picking restaurants (that's my specialty too)
Photos together with the wind in our face
Placed in front of a splendorous view

When illness strikes during my sleep
It's you who held me till the pain went away
When sadness overcame my usual light
You smiled at me and led my tears astray

When secrets leaked, I came to you
Your wise mind thought just like me
Sympathized and advised me in truth
and with your free grin I can only agree

Words cannot explain my blessings from you
I love you father, reality and dreams too
Even through fights I know you understand
That in the very end, my heart loves you

As i gaze into his beautiful eyes i know that he is the one....
the only one for me...
I love him...
I know that he loves me back..
together we make the perfect couple...
I want to be in his big strong arms every momment that i have...
The only thing where i feel safe and loved.....
I can't live without him....
If i didn't have met him i would have did sucide by now...
He saved me...
What would i do for him....
I would give him anything that he wants...
I can try..
I would shiled him from darkness at night when he is sleeping.....
But together we make the perfect couple.....
We have are good times...

Eyes so full of joy
lips perfect to the touch
