is it true? bestfriend is the best enemy..?

for me this is true coz when i was in high school i have a close friend and her bestfriend is her best enemy..

it can be true. Best friends should know all your weaknesses, secrets, and crushes, whatever. If something went wrong, depending on their personality, they could snap back at you so hard you wouldn't know what hit you. (Something like this happened to me several times).

But a "best friend" -should- be someone you can trust not to expose your weaknesses, spread your deepest, darkest secrets, or to steal your crush with the purpose of defeating you if something DID happen.

Sometimes I find it hard to trust for that reason...

but there are some people who wouldn't hurt me for the world, even in a fight and despite their anger in me.

Yeah I have also had a "best friend" be the best enemy. I used to open up to people, but when we stopped being friends I, as said above, didn't know what had hit me.

It's true, best friends normally have a lot they can use against you. If you ever got into a huge fight, depending on the person, they might use it all against you. That would be horrible. A true friend would never do anything so cruel. If they became your worst enemy, they were never a best friend to begin with.

the only time me and my bestest mate fell out, she hurt me with words more than anyone else in the world ever could.. but she had stupidly been on drugs for the first (and last) time.. so yes i think a friend could be your worst enemy cos they know everything about you.. but unless of stupid circumstances they would never hurt you intentionally

A best friend can be your best enemy in certain aspects. I believe that they could be because their so important to a person that if a fight arises that person could hurt you more than anyone else just because of how important they are to you.

HOWEVER, if your best friend is really your best friend than most likely they can't ever go from one extreme to another (bff to enemy). My friend and I had a very odd converstaion once, we were talking about if her boyfriend ever cheated on her with a friend. Well, I joked around and it came up "what if I did that to you" and she was like "I don't think I'd ever be able to hit you, but I'd have to kick someone elses ass" lol. Which if you think about it just proves that my best friend would never do anything to hurt me or become my enemy no matter what happens (even if we weren't friends anymore). Best friends don't become enemies, is my basic point I guess.

Hmmm. It's true, very very true..

I only have three best friends honestly.
Kat, Mander'in, And Jason. All m other friends are very close to me, just those three are my best ones in the whole entire world, ever. All have been mad at me, even hated me at one point. But never did they hurt me or tell any of my secrets or anything of that sorts, we are all still very close, and if anything happend to any of them.. Exspecially Jason..I'd be so devistated.
