How do i throw a PARTY!??

for my sweet sixteen nd my friends farwell, i wanna throw a party but i have no idea where to start. I dont know how to throw a party. help

Well, first off, choose a site. Your home, livingroom, by a pool, patio, rent an events room, a park, etc. Then, the comestibles, like, are you going to ask your friends to cooperate and bring something, are you going to cook.. simple stuff, like microwave popcorn, or hotdogs, or a whole meal? Then decorations, and finally, once you know exactly how it's going to be, make invitations, and e-mail, post or give them to your friends.
If you don't want something really big, be careful for the kind of people that invite a friend, who invites a friend, who invites his cousin, who invites his parents... Perhaps by making a cute note that says "Valid entry for one person" so that it's more like a ticket. *shrug* it's your decision.

I wouldn't organise it too much, as the best parties are free for alls with only the basics taken care of in advance...

A cool location is a must.
Somew drinks, whatever, juice, beer..
Some light foods...
music, or even a live band if you can do that...even better get a dj...
invite a few crazy people...you only need maybe 3...and keep the seperated.

i think everything has already been said.. but a best party is a happy party.. so enjoy.. and HAPPY BIRTHDAY :)

The main things is a big enough area for the people that are coming (so it's not a giant sweat box), good food, and good music--- Hope it turns out well---Happy Birthday!

Invite all your friends and just call it a party. I am sure your friends wil help to make it a party.
