What are everybody's thoughts on cloning and the moral issues involved? Please help me because this is for my GCSE coursework and I need some people's views and ideas about cloning.

it's good but somewhere down the line some evil genius (maybe myself) will abuse it and create a super human army and doom mankind forever

As what every 'normal mere humans' would say "You're Playing God".

Why not use the technology of cloning in other important things like cloning human organs instead.(lol is that possible?)

no lol but they were going to clone pigs and kill them and take their hearts and give them to humans :S

A human cannot live off a pig's heart!! LMAO...

Cloning of course has its pros and cons...

Pros are that diseases, and most cancer will be curable! Imagine, a little baby born with a bad heart...gets a new heart and a fresh start in life he/she deserves...
Cons are that you don't know what else it might lead to...and the world can just change so drastically that it turns into chaos

Of course there are a lot more pros and cons...but most important pro is saving lives, curing diseases and the most important con is "what else is next...a mass army of cloned murderers?" People are afraid of what else it might lead to....

Cloning People Is The Most Ridiculous Thing I've Ever Heard, Its Simply Pointless....In My Personal Opinion They Should Stick To Cloning Important Things That The World Will Actually Run Out Of One Day Like Animals For Food, Or Organs That Are Needed In Healthcare! Instead Of Humans... When We Have More Than We Need Walking Around Already lol

When We Have More Than We Need Walking Around Already lol

^^^LMAOOOOO!!! With that I must agree LOLLL

I completely disagree with cloning an actual human-being...clone organs...not the whole human...to me, that's inhumane...You guys should see the movie called "Island"

It's about all these rich people who have clones of themselves...and the cloned people think that there was some sort of contamination and that's why they're there...and the rich people don't even know that actual people are being cloned...and I won't go any further in case someone wants to watch the movie because I'll end up blowing the ending...LoL

Anyone who sees this movie, will be completely against cloning an actual human being...it's so sad...

I would like the idea of cloning. I would send the clone to work while I just stay home and enjoy myself.

My clone could actually stay home with the kids while I went out for a bit... lol...

Often I joke that I need a clone, but the truth is that the world could not handle two of me.

I am against cloning.... As a person looking to go into the medical field I realize that cloning can have a great and positive impact on the human life as we know it today.

Alot of illnesses could be cured, but what is the price to pay?

It is proven that a human can sustain life with the heart of a pig. Many other great advances are being made in science today so why must we be so selfish as to clone another person.

To answer questions, yes, there are people that have actually had themselves cloned. I still believe that it is wrong and immoral.

In my opinion when God said "Go forth and multiply" he was not referring to us going forth and making a carbon copy of ourselves.
