Purple is the bruise of my heart,
Purple is so powerful, and oh so smart.
Purple is so mysterious, like my love.
Purple is the poison that can kill a white dove.
It is the quirkiness of peacefulness,
The heartache of emptiness.
Purple is the bazaar colour that nobody can defeat,
It is the anxiety that will always beat.

Qualities of Green

Green is the color of envy,
But not within me...
Green is the color of desire,
Which we all tend to admire.

Green has the beauty that will forever last,
And this has been noted in the past...
Green has the symbol of love,
Like the connection of two doves.

Green makes you want more,
Even though you know you should walk out the door...
Green makes you feel the power,

THE COLOR OF DECISION

Will u wait?
Who will wait?
Only time will tell the fate of my heart.
Stuck in a world of black and white
No in between for shades of gray
The day, as dark as night
Confusion of the differences
Lacking to foresee or tell
Too long into what you dwell
Contrasting natures discolor the soul
Looking to far, but seeing nothing
Dressed in confusion for control
Close your eyes to see hidden truth
What would truly make you feel whole?

Love is not a notion or impulse
that suddenly just appears
Its hidden within the depths of time
Colored throughout the years

Paint me a picture of your life
What colors of love do you see?
Is it a one tone colorless sky?
Or a rainbow fantasy?

Entirely awed by the untainted
The unforeseen shakes all your senses
Truly pure for the eyes would only see
can bright eyes mistaken beauty to me?

Two beautiful shades of color
Different and peerless in their own

Does the way it just blends together

all ya'll are reserved, ad no im not going to count the words. lol. i just didnt want a 20 stanza poem with 15 lines in each stanza.. lol. i dont really like long poetry, adn often get bored, so they(you) wouldnt have a high change of winning, or placing, ..

Here's my first attempt for silver, if it's not relating enough tell me and I'll change it. Briefly it's a story about the detached, misery and emotion one would have living in a 'silver' world, or the emotion that silver itself evokes. But you have to kind of read between the lines to get all the meanings :)

Silver Shadows

Glistening pale eyes
Watered down with iridiscent tears
Gaze at the metallic stars.
Their haunting song trembling
Through narrow crowded forest ways
And shredded minds dance under
Their reflecting, twisted smiles.
Shadows wash the earth
Leaving a grey imprint upon
The adhesive edges of
Tormented souls.
Shivering from despair and malice
I fade into the brightness
Of a silver plated world.

deep in her neck
he presses his lips to her neck
opening his mouth
revealing his fangs

for she got her with
she wished for death
now she has eternal life
but she is happy
for she is with him forever

STYLE CHOICES-
Anything.. lol. i just wanted to write that you have to use a strict format other than freeverse, or a simple abab cdcd or aabb ccdd etc format.

so ask which style you want to use *FIRST*

I dont have an example so you will probably have to ask Questions,,,
i will be posting a new thread when i get the top 4 ONLY for the /entries/
