I wish more would get into the act...I started the same thing in my neighborhood. I don't have a video to prove it, but I assure you, it turns people's frowns around. :)

Haha, i love that. What really brought a smile to my face, is when they got tackled because that's something i would do to a random person holding a free hug sign. Don't mock the hippies...

Yeah doing that in my neighbourhood you'd get stabbed .... But it's a nice idea, and actually made me feel a little fuzzy inside. And this time it wasn't the fuzzy feeling of revenge :]

I live in NYC...One of the largest cities cold with crime. Trust me, it worked out great even though.

^ Yup, i live in N.Y as well. The city is a a cold place. People here always say what they feel, whether it's rude or not. I'm still going to try it. Though i don't live in the city, i know what it's like.

I wannta convince some of my friends to come to the mall with me one week end and just give out FREE HUGS!!! :D

sweet idea... i'm doing it at school (might get shot at...) and the mall (stabbed) and on the main street to all the tourists ( coppers)

^ Ha, that's great. The thought of getting shot or stabbed makes it sound even more enjoyable. I might end up shot if i walk around the streets in the city with that sign. Wow, how great would it be to get jumped by a gang..? I'm probably going to do it at the mall though.
