Make It Sound Beautiful Contest

~CLOSED CLOSED CLOSED CLOSED CLOSED CLOSED~Okay so im holding a contest where i list 10 not so beautiful things and you try to make it sound beautiful!! Got it!! So here is an example!

The Wrapper
by I Wished.I Wanted.I Tried. I Lost.

With colors of pink and purple in swirls everyone can see
You wouldnt think a wrapper could be as beautiful as me

with a colorful zebra dancing from side to side
With bubble letters reading "Fruit stripe" im prettier than a wedding day bride

All the other wrappers stare in aw as i pass by
I cant help it is a beauty i just cant deny

There always fighting of who can sit next to me
I try and calm them down letting them know my beauty they will all be able to see

Just Yesterday Extra wanted to see so he knocked out orbit
Its a undenyable want that just wont quit

The bubble gum is usually prettier than its wrapper but not in my case
I have such beauty that nothing could even try to replace

So if you want the prettiest wrapper you have ever seen
dont be shy go ahead and pick up me..

aw man i wanted to do water :( but i guess i'll do blood then

4 imp lessons 2 learn frm a pencil... 1st it tells u tht everythin u do will always leave a mark... 2nd u can always correct da mistakes u make... 3rd wht is imp is wat is inside u n not outside ... and lastly… in life u will undergo painful sharpenings which will make u better in wat u do…

WISDOM PENCIL by dhaval

Every thing in our life holds a meaning
Every object, every omen hold words unsaid
White walls talk often, but we never listen
We can learn a little from every crumb of bread
If only we seek to know what lies beneath
Wisdom can flow from even a pencil lead

We never look beneath the outer beauty
Let our eyes drink but the external face
But now see what I show you, come with me
That black graphite beneath the surface
Dull and soft, captive in yellow paint
Tells a story from within its wooden case

Listen close enough; the lead will say:
Everything you do always leaves an imprint
Like each time the graphite marks the paper
So does every action decide our life’s tint
Though the lead may never say it aloud
Look beneath; you’ll get the hint

Dotted your Ts and crossed your Is?
Worry not, the eraser works just fine
This is where the second lesson lies
Mistakes get sorted, both yours and mine
So let us not be captives of our pasts
God gave us a life, but not to cry and whine

To learn some more you must visualize
So close your eyes and try to imagine
A pencil not of wood, but wrought in gold
Only this one lacks the lead within
The outward charm holds no value if
The heart rots beneath the veiling skin

Pain is a blessing, sometimes disguised
For then experience enters our door
And our lives get better and more sublime
A lead would teach this, lesson number four
As sharpening a pencil causes it pain
But better it gets, penning poems and more…

We humans believe we know it all
And that there is no superior being
But sometimes we must humble down
And cut off our imaginary silver wings
Because from bins of dust to pencil leads
A lesson resides in every single thing.

Can I please reserve hair? I will try and have it in by tonight or tomorrow morning.

'Her Magnificent Hair'

Cascading through love and time,
Wind whistles through her hair
Blowing it in all directions,
Letting it gleam, brighter than the sun

She flips it angelically to the side
And lets it fall down her back, so easily
In meditation she slightly brushes her fingers through…

Worries fade away
And sorrows melt in darkness,
As her hair is touched by the warmth of the sun.

It seems as if even the wind that rattles the cage
Cannot break the masterpiece there.

She lets down her hair at night
Sorrows float and fly away without worry
Nothing flaws her beauty, still, perfected,
She is a portrait for the arts;
A decoration for nature.

Her hair is gorgeous.

I wonder if she notices
How a flip of her head
Brings butterflies around
To all who see…
As she portrays the magnificence;
The natural beauty of hair.

Red polish on my toenails

Swaying as one, alone on the dance floor,
Holding on to you closely is all I could ask for.
Pressing your lips against mine nicely,
As the music plays in the background softly.

After spending days perfecting the way I look,
(Studying how to be the best EVER in a book)
Perfecting my hair, and the polish on my nails,
My toe polish glimmering in the light that unveils.

Make-up in tack, not a blemish in sight,
I made sure that tonight was the night.
To show I am pretty, and I can be hot,
And my great boyfriend sees what I’ve got.

My nails all trimmed, hair flawless now,
No more getting called ugly or a fat cow.
Tonight is the night when everything changed,
Homecoming. The end of being deranged.

Gasoline Rainbows [gasoline]

Even when gasoline
mixes with water
A rainbow appears.
On the squares of concrete
when it is poured
brings forth a magical sphere.

Bright colors remembered
in the smell of it's breath
Takes hold in the site.
Causing the wonder
of beautiful things
that glisten so bold and bright.

Bring forth the colors
That have reflected
in the moons face
Upon the earth
tarnished with pain
dances in musical grace.

Its tune sung in sorrow
by a voice now bestowed
upon the sweet colors
Of gasoline rainbows..

Come on people!

Beauty Of Water {Water, duh}

Flickering with elation deep within the water,
Pixies glow graciously to speak of love.
Liquid so grandigious dancing to shine,
As the moon radiates light from above.

Gentle sweeping water, flowing with pride,
Push away the dreaming spirits of tonight.
Socery of liquid by love quickly takes over the lie,
Of gurgling water, to the shores of light.

Water so beautiful, so loving and grand,
Flows deeply set within a tone of blue,
Shining with pride of many gods,
Sipping up lies, turning them true.

This is what binding water falls do,
Sitting handsomely amongst the wind of fair,
Lending an ear of sympathic pity,
This is the beauty of the water so rare.

Sweet scent of a fresh rose bud
Warm cookies mom just baked
Newly mowed lawn in the morning
Autumn heaven in leaves raked

Johnson's shampoo on the baby
Cologne on a passerby
Wood burning fire in the camp
Fresh falling rain from the sky

Lavendar in the bubble bath
Barbeque ribs on the grill
Newborn kittens wandering
Dew from the mountain hill

Life's little joys we know well
Since they all come through our nose
How grateful for that piece of us
That catches what the wind blows
