Honesty

How many people here can honestly say that they are actually honest and don't say what people want them to say.
I've read many posts here about being honest etc, but i really believe that honesty is the best policy no matter what,biting your tongue to save someones feelings is a load of crap, honesty is even if the other person doesn't agree with it the right way to go becaue biting your tongue or holding back doesn't accomplish anything. So what is HONESTY?

I believe in tempered honesty, that is, honesty with tact and empathy.

Blunt honesty looks great on paper, and it feels and sounds really righteous, especially when someone steps up and lets rip when we feel incapable.

But, it can also be damaging without intelligence and thought behind it.

Kevin, that is probably the best description of how to be honest....words to live by.
