I really need some help...

Alright. Here is the thing. I am getting really bad chest pains. Mostly in the left side of my chest. But at the moment, it is in the right side of my chest. Sometimes it just feels like a bunch of pressure and other times it feels like I am being stabbed about 20 times. Sometimes, I even have to catch my breath because they sometimes come without notice (the sharp ones) They use to only last a few seconds, but they seem to be lasting a lot longer.

When I told my mom about it, she thought it might just be heartburn or something. She also thought anxiety. But the thing is, I am getting them EVERYDAY. I started getting them about 4 months ago. I really don't think it is anxiety or heartburn but my mom isn't worried about it and neither is my family doctor. I told my doctor about it and he just told me that I am too young to be having any serious problems, and nothing more. No tests or anything. I don't know. Maybe I am just over-reacting...

    They could be stitches...
Have you had them very regularly? Four months is a long time, perhaps you should book an appointment with ANOTHER doctor, or if not a medical doctor maybe a chiropractor, a natural doctor, herbalist, etc.. anyone who will listen.
Try taking some vitamin supplements, and make some natural changes to your diet.
Also, every night make it a point to sit down comfortably and breathe. Breathe in until your stomach and ribs are really full of air, then breathe out slowly.
Above all, ask someone for help who will really listen.

well i dont know, but yeah you could try and see another doctor or someone...

I get anxious and worried all the time and if I think theres something worng with me i worry more... which normally just makes it hell of a lot worse.

I suggest learning to meditate or something. Its a greta way to relax and destress and is also very effective for pain relief.

And try some of the herbal remidies you can get.

    Hope it gets better

I am no doctor, but I would simply go with what Truest Lies said. Go to a doctor that will listen, espically since it is persistant and seems to be getting worse and has been going on for so long. It could be serious....but, then and again it might not be. But, never take too many cautions.

When you get short of breath, and then it's like there's this pain in your chest/lung... sometimes when you run or walk and don't remember to breathe properly...
I would consult a medical advisor who could teach you some breathing exercises, perhaps that would help.

If you are feeling pain like that every day and yet the doctor says nothing is wrong, don't believe him. Go to another doctor. Demand that tests be done.
A few years ago my friend had severe pains in her chest. She went to the doctor three times and all three time he said that nothing was wrong, that she's too young to have gall bladder attacks. So she went to another doctor who actually tested her and found out that she had more than 20 stones in her gall bladder. She could have died. I'm not trying to scare you or anything, but you know your own body. Get a test done.
The doctor that you are seeing now could be right, that nothing may be wrong and it may just be anxiety, but for your peace of mind go check it out.

Thanks everybody. It is just that my doctor isn't worried about it and my mom really isn't either. And my dad isn't around to talk to about it. So I don't know exactly what to do, then. In order to get a new doctor, my mom would need to help me and she isn't concerned about it.

I used to have a little pain just under my breast but I stopped drinking pop and eating sugar, white bread and really greasy foods. It went away. I still get them sometimes but not very often. Some of my friends get it, too.
