Ok Who Agrees?

Who thinks cursing is really annoying? Because I think that it's getting out of hand and people just say it too much that it just makes you want to strangle them. Who thinks that too? Surely I'm not the only one.

cursing just for the sake of it, shows a lack of imagination, and can never be construed as intelligent

Who was it to say what words are bad and what words are good?

bad words hmmm everyone uses them or at least has said one before. i do curse when i feel the need to like for example:

*When i hurt myself badly
*When i trip over something that isnt suppose to be there lol
*& when i forget to do something

BTW these things dont happen often, nor do i say a bad word outloud every time lol

yah somethimes. but what makes those words bad? when you think about it it's stupid. who decided that those words are going to be bad? to someont who didnt know the word 'flower' could be a bad one for all they know.....

I don't really curse that much. I usually just make people feel like idiots. =).

I agree, I hate cursing. I personally don't think that there is a point to them. Honestly, there are like what, 16 000 words in the English language and people limit themselves to these 4 or 5 words that make them sound vulgar and stupid. But that's just my opinion.

I curse sometimes, but only when I'm really angry. I don't really think it's that big of a deal. I don't like it when people just curse for the sake of cursing, but I don't think a couple curse words are really that bad.

At the end of the day, it's just words. They are all just rude substitutes for nicer sounding words, but at the end of the day, they all mean the same thing. So what should it matter if you said the nice version, or the bad one.

i admit, i say them every once in a while, and i think everyone does. but the thing that gets me is the people that say them every second word (like the LIKE example, just using a curse word). i mean, if you say it once in a while, whatever. but if you say it ALL the time...well its just plain annoying and also, it can make the people around you quite uncomfortable. its not something to strive for, i.e.' i can say more swear words than YOU can today' !
and in the end...all it does it hurt peoples ears

Cursing doesn't bother me. I curse If I'm really mad and stuff, and I don't mind hearing it. But it really annoys me when people use it a lot in one sentence. And that's only because when people use on word a lot in a sentence that just annoys me (specifically the word 'like').
