The only problem with the writer making his or her own genre is that we would then have as many categories and sub-categories as there are writers!

I do think that there should at least be an "other" sub-category within each category.

But by all means, Rusty, feel free to suggest specific categories and/or sub-categories that you feel should be added. If enough people agree, it could possibly be added. It has been done before.
