After Entering

read the rules, Rusty! It says to save your poem before submitting it. If you are "just writing it on the spot" then do so in your Word processing program, and then copy it over to your account here.

If you absolutely HAVE to write it here for whatever reason, then just remember to highlight and copy it before pressing submit... then if you have to sign in again, you just need to press the back button and paste the poem and there ya go!

(at least that works for me.. I've heard that some people can't just press the back button and have it go back to the submit page).

But really, it's always best to save your work first.. then submit it on your account.

but WHY does itt happen. cause i get really mad.. and it makes me kick my computer.. which hurts my foot. so i get more mad. > = [

Well why in the world would you EVER kick your computer?

I lost so much poetry trying to write on this site. I found that for one of two reasons, they got lost. I either was typing too slow or thinking too slow. Now I just highlight and copy them here. It saves all my work from being lost somewhere in cyberspace. Listen to AnnMarie. She seems to know what she's talking about.

You have to do the same thing if writing a long email on hotmail or whatever too because it times out and when you go back or refresh it is gone FOREVER!!!!

i was just jokin about kicking my computer .. lol..

I've said it many times before.. the log in time needs to be longer!

It's like 5-10 mins and randomly logs you out while looking at pages, too.. wtf?

I've become more and more inactive with this site as it fails to EVER be doing anything.

Nope.

I don't write my poems down.. I type them up off head onto this site.

If this is a site for poetry why can't they let people benefit from it in all ways?

Well this has happened to me like 2 or 3 times. And if im just writing off the top of my head then I just write it right onto here and then it tells me I wasnt logged in. And then I loose my work! Ughhh...but yeah. But i also write them onto paper so I have them just in case, which has worked in the past.

^Well, duh. It's a great way to take your anger out! But come on, I think it's common sense to actually SAVE your work before submitting. It happened to me when I first started posting on this site.

But the intitial Question is WHY. does this happen? does anyone know?
