Birth Control..?

How long after you stop taking antibiotics does birth control start working again? For pregnancy that is.

Do you have to go through a whole cycle?

Depending on when you started taking again.

It is recommended you start at the beginning of your period and go through a full menstrual cycle before ensuring the effectiveness of the pill birth controll method.

If you phrased your question incorrectely and you meant to ask; how long until I can get pregnant again after taking birth control, then it is suggested two or three cycles before assured you can get pregnant again, seeing as your period is irregular for a while afterwards.

Ask your doctor. And use a condom anyway, just to be safe:)

some birth controls you are supposed to start a few days after your period.. it really depends on the pill

Some antibiotics stop the pill working, so once you're off them, act as if you're starting to take the pill all over again

so if when you first took it, you weren't protected from pregnancy until a week of taking the pill, then don't have sex without a condom for at least a week

but it depends on which part of the cycle of pills you are taking. personally, i would suggest you use condoms for a couple of weeks at least
