Helloness! So here's the thang, I have to read a novel by a contemporary author for my AP English class && I have been putting it off for quite some time because I have been terribly busy. So... can any one reccomend a good book that I can read, that wont take too horribly long? I would appreciate it so much. Thank Ums. |

^ It's amazing!! What book of hers are you reading? I'd start with AGATB because there is a sequel called Rebel Angels, and if you read the sequel first it just won't make sense... so make SURE that you read A Great and Terrible Beauty FIRST!! |

I'm a fan of the Golden Compass by Philip Pullman. Techinically "young adults" reading, but about 20 times deeper than any harry potter you're going to find. It's a little longish, must be in the 300's, but reads quickly. |

^ I've wanted to read Anthem, but I can't seem to find it. I guess I'm just not looking hard enough. |
