well... im going to france in february XD with school, and im not sure what im going to get people....it will probably end up being postcards and key chains and all that, but i want to try and find some other ideas.... do you guys have any ideas?

and for certain people to... like my parents, other family, close friends or just friends......

(if that was extremely confusing, just lemme know and i'll clarify)

You could always go for some French chocolate or candies or things. Everywhere in the world has postcards and keychains, which are fine gifts, but it's cool if you can find cheap things more specific to the place you're visiting.

Um, my French teacher brought me back a CD, a gold (small) Eiffel tower, and a ring.

..Oh, by the way. Don't get the wrong idea. He only did so.. because we made a bet that he couldn't get with one of the parents... and he losed. So he brought me back stuff.. lol. =)

im going to europe in march and my mom told me i had to bring back good smelling perfume for me... she said the purfume will remind her of the trip, and even when it is empty she will still have the bottle...

this may sound cheap but heres a couple ideas.

1.) When eating somewhere, take the little coaster thing, or even a breathment back.

2.) mentioned above i think---when you buy a can or bottled drink keep that can or bottle.

3.) if you stay in a hotel take back a little bar of soap or even a towel.

Postcards and keychains are wonderful gifts too but sometimes money can be saved by using my technique above =]]

Hmm..I'm not sure. Would you really want someone to give you a can or a bar of soap!?

I think the idea of getting cheap and cheerful gifts that are special to that place is a better idea, such as chocolate, or french bread or something.

If you don't want to spend any money at all on the people you're getting presents for..then why the hell are you getting them anything?!

they asked for thoughts so i gave my thoughts. not everyone is rich so i was thinking of other ways. its the thought that counts rite!?

ok, im asking for ideas and appreciate them ALL . anyways, enough about that. im going to France, so i will probably get something...well, french lol
