SAVE THE POLOR BEARS!!!!

because of global warming the polar bears are gonna DIE!! the large masses of ice that they live on are melting rapidly.

does ne1 know how to prevent this from happening

Well. At this time the environmental club I am in is trying to save the gopher tortoises. We make new habitats for them.. woo. I will bring the polar bears up at the next meeting. Glad to see someone cares. =)

one way is to save gas. carpool. ride a bike instead. don't leave lights on in the house if nobodys in the room! while your brushing your teeth, don't leave the water running. don't smoke. simple things like this can make a huge difference.

What about the penguins? Save them too!!

To save them I guess we can all just fly up in the sky and put the sun in a box so it will no longer melt the ice and the polar bears can live...let me just find my keys to my rocket ship...*-jokes*

I watched that on the news its pretty sad...lets hope all the Polar Bears in the Zoos can make babies so they don't become to extinct! But I highly doubt that will happen

lmao its gonna take 10000s of years for all that ice to melt i dont think we need to worry + they can swim ;)

^^ You obviously have not been paying attention lately.

Every year, they are finding more and more polar bears that have drown to death. You can swim too, but if we drop you in the middle of the ocean, how long are you going to last? The reason they are dying is because there is so little ice left that the bears can't get to a new glacier fast enough.

If anyone wants to understand the affects and how to prevent global warming, I suggest watching "An inconvenient truth" by Al Gore..terribly boring but there is alot of good information.

I just watched that film. Excellent, i didnt find it boring but i'm pretty sure if my firends watched it they would. I like watching stuff like it. So i did find it quite intresting.
Seriosuly thought, in the "news of the world" today (english newspaper) they had this insert which had all the aniomals that are at risk from extinction. It said if continued Candaian Polar Bears could die out in 10 years time. Really sad. :(
