My Enemy. {Homosexual Poem}

My lover stands in front of me;
My lover is my enemy.
Our love all seemed to make sense,
But our lies were our only defense.

Two lovers; we're plain to see,
Are simply two that are meant to be.
But of two who feel so much devotion,
There is very much commotion.

Walking alone the streets one day,
Holding hands, people look in dismay.
A smile on our faces; we hold on tight,
For we won't give up with frightening fight.

Bang, bang; a gun is heard,
And suddenly it all seems absurd.
Holding my love tight in my arms,
Pray can I to take her from harm...
But now it's my turn to look up and say,
'God, why are you being this way!
Out of discrimination, out of hate,
Was this really our final fate?'

I fall to the ground, no longer can I stand,
As I take her head within my hands;
Pulling her close and glare at the sky,
As a tear falls gently from my eyes,
I look up and ask the very sky,
'Did anyone else see this woman die?'

A young woman came to me then,
A display of love, a display of no sin,
And in her sweet smelling arms she took me,
To tell me that my love could now be free;
I closed my eyes and finally cried,
Because of that night, my one and only died.

Our love all seemed to make sense,

Moonlight [rondeau]

The gentle strains of midnight's moon
Are wrapped within this lonesome gloom
And faint rays of cold embrace tight
The frail body of a graceful sprite -
.........Soft whispers of a falling plume.

The owls sing, red roses bloom
Dazzling us with their sweet perfume
Such wondrous scene of pure delight -
.........Gentle strains of midnight.

Silver waves of translucent fume
Step in your peaceful, silent room
Painting on walls shadows of white
Outlined in heavenly bright light
Alike the deep blue sea's frail spume -
.........Gentle strains of midnight.

A Rondeau is a French form, 15 lines long, consisting of three stanzas: a quintet, a quatrain, and a sestet with a rhyme scheme as follows: aabba aabR aabbaR. Lines 9 and 15 are short - a refrain (R) consisting of a phrase taken from line one. The other lines are longer (but all of the same metrical length).

My Decadent

A shadow fell upon my door
And feathers flew amid the dark -
Her face so ashen and sore;
Could barely hear her heart.

Her tears that stain the peeling floor -
Sorrow rests heavy on her wings.
So much pain inside her core,
In decadence she sings.

Letting go

Staring out of the window
Watching the world pass by
I take a deep breath
And wipe a tear from my eye

If only you could see me this way
I wonder how you would feel
Because the pain that I am feeling
Believe me it is real

Your supposed to feel happy
When you know you've found the one
When all I feel is sorrow
The happiness all gone

So which do I follow?
My head or my heart?
I know which one I want to
For I can't bear us to be apart

But common sense is telling me
That although you feel the same
Too many people influence you
And all you feel is shame

So all thats left for me to say
Is good luck in all you do
For i am going to let you go
Just know my love is true.

Will our wedding have finally gone through?
Our lives beginning a path that's new?

*Gem*

It's 3 in the morning but you're still on my mind,
The tears blur the darkness, making me blind.
I can't pretend I don't miss you, because it'd be a lie,
Even though it's over, I can't just say goodbye

If there's one memory I don't want to lose,
It's the feeling that I had when I was with you.
Everything before you had no meaning,
But now I realize it was you I was missing.

Though no one can decide who it is we dream of,
The person of whom I dream is the one I love.
You mean so much to me, but you're fading away,
I'll give up everything to just have you one more day.

All I can do now is just lay around in bed,
So many memories keep replaying in my head.
I remember what it felt like to be in your arms,
You took my heart with your kindness and charms.

I just keep falling harder and harder each time,
Though we're apart, can't get you outta my mind
Life without you has just been a living hell,
Baby, can't you see? You got me under your spell.

My door is always open, if you don't want to move on,
Sometimes you don't know what you got until it's gone.
But I don't want to be without you, so I'll be waiting,
If only I could go back in time, I could've saved this aching.

Don't want no one else, but don't want to be alone,
I'm falling apart at the seams, apart bone by bone.
The only one I want to be with anymore is you,
I try to move on, but you crawl into everything I do.

I think of you for hours on end, as I lie in bed awake.
I know why you ended us, I'm more then you could take.
I know being with me wasn't easy, but I tried,
I know I was wrong, shouldn't have kept it all inside.

Though I can't feel a thing, you can find much then me,
I'll always remember you, but it's time you be free.
I guess that some things are just not meant to be.
Because the truth is, you're so much better then me...

Crazy and insane

This world is like a movie
never still always moving
when it hurts we feel the pain
the blood falls like drops of rain
fading a way into a dream
out of the darkness we give a scream
rushing comes hope
and with it a rope
all tied up we scream and cry
then we fall and we all die
startled by a scream
we wake up from the dream
with blood on our hands
we wait where it stands
shaking and crying
we see it won't be dying
a cry of pleasure, a cry of pain
we wonder why we're in the rain
we cry for help with no one around
so we settle on the ground
sown to sleep
sleep we creep
woken with furry
off with a hurry
run like crazy
the stranger is lazy
we win the gold
god this is getting old
changing so fast
we shoot with a blast
it just makes it mad
we'd run if we had...
we don't have legs
they are just little pegs
we want out of this dream
it's getting kind of mean
we sit down and cry, cry, cry
but here we lie
in our cozy bed
and we still have our heads

Our Fading year

It's all so different,
It's hard to believe.
and the moments with her I spent,
It's hard to perceive.

A little over a year it's been,
some times I think I've lost my mind.
The rope between life and death so thin,
I always thought I was blind.

We're spreading apart,
to opposite ends of the earth it seems.
I never thought it would break my heart,
because shes always in my dreams.

With my soul so very weak,
and hope dropping fast.
To me she was unique,
but now just in the past.

Its been so long since I've showed I cared,
I promise I'm still the same guy.
I didn't know what to do, I was scared.
I didn't want you to see me cry.

Now we're fading away,
I lost a part of me.
and again to God I pray,
that you see what I see.

It's all so different,
a little over a year its been.
You don't know how much to me you meant,
I want to spend those moments again.
