contest about death!!

I would like to withdraw my other poem because it is now obsolete..
My nan died on Sunday and this is a new poem for her..

Xx More Than Just A Nan xX

Nobody warned me about how I would feel
The constant pain, the tears and all the grief
It's almost unbearable to have you gone
But to know you're at peace is a relief

I didn't like to see you in so much pain
You were just waiting for your soul to succumb
I could see in your eyes that you'd had enough
Even though all those tablets made your body numb

It hurts that I wasn't there to hold your hand
And to say I loved you... just one last time
I never got to say my last goodbyes
And to see you safely on your heavenly climb

It's so painful to realise you're not coming back
That I'm never going to see you smile at me again
That fact you won't be there on my wedding day
Is just to much hurt for me to retain

Is it normal for me to feel so utterly lost?
To feel like i've lost a part of my soul?
But I know you're in a much better place now
So I'm trying my best to keep in control

Nanna, I don't know how to put into words
Just how much I loved and cared for you
For you were more than just a relative to me
You were a grandmother, a mom and a best friend too... ©

    My dear Molly
    by ~BRiDDY~

We got Molly when she was a little kitten,
and she was the cutest thing around.
She would unravel the toilet paper and climb up the curtains,
then fall asleep without a sound.

The whole family liked to cuddle and play with her,
and oh how she loved the attention!
She would fall asleep absolutely anywhere,
on someone's shoulder or even in the bin.

She grew bigger and bigger every day,
    until she was fully grown.
She started to catch rats and birds,
and go out all night on her own.

Molly was definitely a lap cat,
she loved to snuggle up on someone's lap.
But i think she thought the garden,
was the best place to take a nap.

A couple of times Molly went missing,
she even got sick one time.
But she would always return home alive,
except for the night she died.

That night I was woken from my sleep,
and pulled from the comfort of my bed.
I was led into the lounge, and what I saw there,
    was my molly lying dead.

My family were gathered around her stiff body,
and told me she had been hit by a car.
She had tried to drag herself back home,
but couldn't make it that far.

    My tears were uncontrollable,
and my sobs were making me insane.
Molly had died at only four-years-old,
and she would have been through a lot of pain.

It's been over two years since Molly's been gone,
and I'm hating our time apart.
And although she was only a cat,
she will always hold a place in my heart.

    ~ R.i.P Molly, I will never forget you. ~

    Deat's way

    He waits in the wing
while you get live going full swing
    then he pounces on you
    wraps his arms around you
    and takes you away
    that's death's way
Your family is filled with sorrow
filled with tears they can't swallow
They try to go on with plans they own
    but they are blown
    everything has come undone
you were tooken before you had begun
    Goodbye my friend
    this is the end
    We say bye
    and wonder why
it has to be this way
It is sad that he took you away
    but that is death's way
