Thinking about what has happened to me,

what happened to the girl that i used to be.

the one who always believed in love,

and now doesnt even know the meaning of.

she thought he loved her and no one else,

now she's drowned in tears, something she's never felt.

the heartaches she's been given,

the lies she's been told.

insane she's been driven,

so lost and left out in the cold.

she's reached the one thing she's always feared,

drowning in a river of nothing but tears.

Lost At Sea

Cold beneath icy coverlets in something broken
A heart locket splayed across the wooden floor
Belonging to a drowned sailor, a lover's token
Bitten by the frosty air, sliced to her resting core

She kneels beside her mattress, eyes dripping wet
Praying the letter of her fiance's death, a lie
Tangling her fingers in the webbing of a fishnet
Clenching fists so tight, as sobs become a sigh

She shatters the mirror, imagining a ship sinking
Her bare feet break upon the glass fragments
As she walks to the open window, unblinking
The lace curtain wisps...'My lady, my sentiments'

A smile plays across her lavender lips; she laughs
Remembering moments of sweet love embrace
She climbs to the windowsill, her nightgown wafts
The sea far below, waves moving at such a pace

Holding her last breath, she slips from sanctuary
Staring at the night sky, stars shining so brilliant
Jagged rocks awaiting her delicate, warm body
Knowing she will be with her beloved in a moment

Holding herself, another day has gone by,
She takes her wings; she only wants to fly.
Many tries to smile with broken frowns,
Falling continuously to the ground;
Her future in her heart, she must deny.

She's not running to be by your side,
Because there are tears finally in her eyes;
Roses cry and nightingales sound-
...She only wants to be held.

Stars gaze at a lonely sight by the sky,
As this girl sits alone tonight to die-
Nothing can catch what's fallen to the ground,
She can't pick up this sadly smiling frown.
Finally fallen, she sits tonight to cry-

Sometimes i feel like i can erase
All the things that i learned

And i wish i had a pencil
To draw my life again

As i draw a picture
A picture of sadness
What colors are included in?

The answer I am waiting for

A Picture In A Frame (Acrostic)

All the times I've seen you, my heart can't help but race,

Pain still exists, when I look at your beautiful face.
Instantly destroying all of the feelings I have for you,
Calling out your name, wishing you loved me too.
Torture still remains, but you never really cared,
Unable to go on with my life, knowing you won't be there.
Remnants of this broken heart, they will last an eternity,
Every time my eyes meet yours, I know you don't love me.

Insanity is all that remains, just wishing it would end,
Not knowing where I should start, or where to begin.

A picture in a frame, is all I have left of those days

Frozen through time, is all the beauty that it portrays
Reality starts to kicks in, and I can finally realize,
All the pain I've been through, there's no more goodbyes.
More that I realize this, the more I feel the same,
Every time that I look at her picture in a frame.

Under Your Spell
It's 3 in the morning but you're still on my mind,
The tears blur the darkness, making me blind.
I can't pretend I don't miss you, because it'd be a lie,
Even though it's over, I can't just say goodbye

If there's one memory I don't want to lose,
It's the feeling that I had when I was with you.
Everything before you had no meaning,
But now I realize it was you I was missing.

Though no one can decide who it is we dream of,
The person of whom I dream is the one I love.
You mean so much to me, but you're fading away,
I'll give up everything to just have you one more day.

All I can do now is just lay around in bed,
So many memories keep replaying in my head.
I remember what it felt like to be in your arms,
You took my heart with your kindness and charms.

I just keep falling harder and harder each time,
Though we're apart, can't get you outta my mind
Life without you has just been a living hell,

My door is always open, if you don't want to move on,

drugs
She lets out a scream
she falls to ground
she don't understand
why mother is never a round
why her father is gone for weeks at a time
blaming her for her mother crime
she left all alone with sister to care
when mother is there is yells and swears
making her feel like she is the one to blame
like she was only a mistake
when her father sends the child support
her mother takes all for her self
she never get any thing new
she always has to use the old
see her mother is addicted to drugs
she don't under the crime that she has made
drugs changed her mother life
and she will never be the same
there is a lesson to the story that you just heard
drugs don't only change your life
but the people you love

There Must be Some Place Better
