Dying

this website is dying. We seriously need to make some changes. Well, not necessarily we, but you, whoever you are. Mostly because we have no control over what happens.
Make the website more attractive, more inviting....

I actually disagree... Yeah there may be things that can be done to improve certain things, but it's a poem site and if You read the poems You'll still find a lot of good work out there... Isn't that what it's all about afterall?

People just want to improve the forums/awards/chatroom... what actually got you drawn to the site in the first place? That's what I think about... I was searching poems and quotes and that's what I got... Some are good, some are really bad but there are some excellent poems/quotes too... Isn't that what the site is mainly about?

i kinda do disagree with myself lol! What attracted me to this website was it's melancholy atmosphere and also a certain poem.

i agree tht we should makie this site more interesting put pics up or change da format or backgrounds ......n have like msn quotes or pics n stuff xxx

i think we should keep the pics/chat(improve security) an forums basicly the same . and although i enjoy getting awards. they are so big. i like how basicly there's no rubbish within this site. like siggys, or avys. or w/e but i do think more practical changes should occur-like security in chatroom, and better searching capabilities, (in poems and forums) also an option to when you submit a poem, to have a screen pop up to save it.. i know i should just copy and paste it wherever,, but i know that word often freeezes my computer. so i wish there was an easier way to do that. =]

i like p&q, but the saving thing isn't a bad idea! just dont get it too untraditional, or it will fall apart more. i love p&q. it's a 2nd home :)

that is so true. It will be scary making changes
(like already, the fact that that "Remember Me" thing is indented to the right is scaring the HELL outta me, lol)... kinda like a changaphobia. It's kinda like Habbo Hotel. Once it started getting more advanced it started losing people. Now that i realize it, i like this website just the way it is... lol. Gee, talk about a revelation.
All that i personally need changed is the copyright dates so i know my writing is protected, and i am fine.

your poems are copyrighted the moment you think of them.

My suggestion to you is to date them when you write them (and SAVE them)

Many people do what is called a "redneck" copyright: print them all out and mail them to yourself and then don't open it. The postmark on the package will prove they are yours from at least that date.
