Ok my son is having his birthday party in a few weeks. it's going to be a water party in our yard (water slide, moonwalk (jumping thing), water guns, water balloons ect.) and I have to make the invitations myself. Can someone give me a suggestion on what to put on the invitations. Like what they should say?? (first year i've had to make them myself) |

You're very welcomed. Good luck with the invitations and the party...you're an awesome mom :) It must be hard, but you are surviving. Keep up the good-work :D It's also important to find a healthy relief for all the tension. Again, I wish you good luck |

Where are your friends? I know you are busy...but you should try to make time for friends. It's surprisingly helpful to just complain to them haha. You can also set time aside for yourself with an activity (physical) that takes you away from your worries temporarily. Some people run or swim...others climb or meditate. For some, simply sitting in a nice comfy chair with a nice cup of coffee or tea. You don't have to do it often..just once in a while. Get in touch with yourself...check and see how you're holding up. When you're relaxed, you can plan better what you have to do later on. If you plan better, there is a better chance of having success...which leads to more calm and relax..it's a nice cycle when it works haha. |

What friends? When I get around my friends it's for them to vent or me to help. It's one sided really. They really don't have time to listen to me. I try to walk and even then I have to take my son and he's running his mouth. lol Even when I go to bed he's usually still in his bedroom watching a movie and asking me questions in the other room. Last night I tried to go to bed early because I had to be at work at 5 this morning, which meant getting up at 4, and he decided he wasn't going to go to sleep until about 11 or 12. It was miserable. |

Ahh...adorable angel he is...haha I know...there's just no getting away from him. You should try to shape that little guy now. Teach him compassion and patience. Try to explain to him that you're tired and sometimes you need rest more than other moments. It's easier to give him what he wants because you love him..but you have your needs too. You're still young so you can handle it now...but you can still over-work youself. |

My son is very compassionate, he's just not patient lol If I tell him I'm sick he'll get my pillow and blanket and lay with me on the couch and watch cartoons and things like that but to have to wait on something is a different story. He doesn't let me leave much without him because my ex-boyfriend walked out on him. (along with his father not being around that was kind of a blow to him) I actually have Friday off. I only have to work a couple of hours because I'm working so much this week and I can't have overtime so I'm going to take him to daycare, work my couple of hours and then just take some time for myself after I go pay bills and things. |

That's cute :)...but you have to teach him to be patient too...my mom didn't really. Not that I blame her...but yea..now I can be impatient haha. |

If only I knew...I've yet to have my own family. I can't wait haha...It's so strange. It was about 2 years ago...I was sitting in church and they preached about fatherly love...and I just felt the pride, joy, love, expecations..and more that comes with being a father. From then on..I wanted sons and daughters. I'd rather have sons actually...cause I know men can be jerks...I would love my daughters too much to put them forth into a world like so...-_- but I wouldn't mind raising some potential jerks but forming them well to be gentlemens..haha...yes..I'm odd. What did it feel like when you first held him? haha...hope it's as beautiful as I think is would be. |

Well I suffered from horrible post pardom depression so unfortunatly it wasn't that great for me. Me and my son have started forming our bond in about the last year or so. That's why I feel so bad now because when he was such a small infant he didn't really have me and he didn't have a father (his dad has never seen him) but he had my mom and my dad so he's very close to them now. When he was born I was terrified that I couldn't take care of him on my own. I've finally learned to live with those emotions. |

That's very understandable. It would be harder for you with two children. I do hope you'll find a supporting husband though. By what I know...it's better to try and find one now...while your son is still young. This way they can both adjust to each other. It's harder for your son when he's older. Is there a potential someone in your life right now? |

Unless you're from a really small town where you basically know everyone...it's not time to shut the doors to other possibilities just yet. If you're happy with how things are now though..it's better to just keep going with it. Can't say I know much about matters as such haha. When not proving useful..wish for luck. Good luck hehe Still...I'm willing to listen if ever you wish to share. It's just that I haven't had solid experience with matters you go through. |

Haha, Ash, I think you should know this before pursuing a further relationship...Joseph is a compulsive liar. I don't want all to hail to me, all hail to me due to their want. It's a bit pitiful. Ok fine, maybe I'm jealous. I have a crush on Joseph. |

Hmm...Elisabetta already calls me that...though she's never used it...so sure...call me Joey. I'm not a compulsive liar. I just like to make fun of you as you make fun of me...we're "mutual" She's working on invitations to a party. |

We're in Poetry World Domination. Haha Though we only have some members that are more active than others...it's usually enough to cover and make up a fun environment. You should consider joining. I can't guarantee you'd always have pleasant conversations but I'm sure we'd welcome you...think about it and let me know if you wish to join =) |

Leaving on the 11th. I'll still try to check in here once in a while so if you want to share..I hope I'll be still available :D |

lol oh ok. I see how it is. I make a new friend and then you just leave me *pout* j/k I hope you have fun in China. They have a big anouncment for us at work so I'm kinda worried about that but I guess we'll see. I did finally get Jase's invitations made. :) and he won some awards at the bike show this weekend *yea* He won "2nd place future rider" because he was decked out in his Harley gear and he won "1rst place Future Rider Photo Contest" and got a big trophy. It was really cool. I will let you get back to your work now. I'm going to try to finsih mine so I can get home. Talk to you soon. |

haha...it wouldn't be permanent. I'm only there for a month or so. What exactly did they announce? That's really cute haha "Future Rider" I bet he had lots of fun there. Good to know that you've completed the invitations. Hope you'll get a good response when you send them out. How much long till it actually happens? It's not all that much work...though it can feel like I'm out of place with piles of paper-work I need to set in order...and I gotta prepare myself for the trip...it's around 25+ degrees there now O.o my goodness...almost sounds a bit too warm now haha |

A month or so is a lifetime to some people. They haven't announced anything yet. They just keep saying they have one for us. It should be interesting I guess. The actual party is April 22nd so I have about 3 weeks to get everything together. 25+ does seem high. I don't like the heat that much. I would rather be cold then hot. More excuses to cuddle lol |

Haha...that's also one of my reasons for liking winter better. You're right. Though it's rare for us to think about time that way. There aren't that many "month or so"s in our lives. Goes to show we should appreciate things more :) Thanks for reminding me of that hehe The 3 weeks would fly by pretty fast...though it should give you enough time to organize a great party :) |
