Good Friday

For those of you who don't know or must have forgotten, today is Good Friday! The day Jesus died on the cross for our sins!

Just felt like putting it out there... I'm in a good mood today. God is good :)

Well, I think that's all I have to say... lol

i'm glad that oyu reminded me! i had totaly forgot!

Personally i don't need today to worship jesus dying for me. i do it everday.

besides i don't worship his death. i worship his ascension.

no offense if anyone has these but i can't stand crusifixes with jesus hanging on them.

i don't want to cause any trouble but when i picture jesus i don't think he'd want me to picture him in constant agony.

right now he's happier than we are i'll bet

I agree with you, David, but today is also just a special day to reflect on what He did do. I know many do it everyday, but others don't. It's a good thing to know; this is the day that we were set free.

Oh i cant wait for easter, i gave up chocolate for lent

The masses they have are the best.

Do you say "Happy Good Friday," do you think? I've always wondered - it sounds strange. Be "Happy," on a day that Jesus was crucified? But then, it is "happy," in a way, -why- he died.

So.

I wish you a somber, celebratory, reflective, joyous, good Good Friday.

You know i was thinking.

not to drive a stake in the catholic church (which i would gladly do) who set up the holiday. the bible says jesus rose on the third day. but from friday evening to sunday morning is not three full days.

it should be good thursday.
