New b/f help

Ok i got this new b/f and we really dont talk or nething and he talks to my friends more then he talks to me and its like ok..and makes me wonder but he wrote me a note sayin when he likes someone alot he dont talk much..but everybody is tellin me to give him a chance but i dont kno what to do...HELP PLEASE

Sounds like he just wants your friends. But I do know a guy who does that, and he got through it by his girlfriend just taking him away from her friends and doing a one on one talk with him to set things straight.
