A song for each decade

For school I need to make this presentation in powerpoint called 'the events of the 20th century' just basically going through like everything that happened. But we have also been told that we need a song for each decade to play! I'm 13 so I can only think of ones for the 1990s, can anybody help please?
Just if you could try and list the best song from a few decades in the 20th century it would be really helpful!

For the earlier decades find classical, ragtime, and big band music
