Dream Debate

Gem a fellow P&Q member says that dreams can not be interpreted and have no meanings. That dreams are our sub concious and can mean anything to something comepletely random cos they are just our jumbled thoughts to dreaming about our day which is still fresh in our minds

I think that dreams have meanings and certain objects reflect the meaning of are dreams.

This is a debate and we will talley scores. You say who your with either Gem or Hawkeye and after a couple of days we'll end the debate and so who has the most votes.

When i see a dream and remember it...it comes true...i lived that so many times

I'm sure that there are guys like me that their dream came true

I think I have to agree with Hawkeye, I myself have had some pretty telling dreams and my grandmother is a dreamer also. While I think that yes our dreams can be random and just dreams, they can also be special.

Never once did i say they can't be interpreted.
I said a BOOK can't tell you exactly what they mean. Only the DREAMER themselves can understand what they said. Your book couldn't tell me about my last dream but me and friend managed to work it out no problem, cos i KNOW my own mind.

And don't be so immature. I have my own views and you have yours. Keep it like that. No 11 year old is going to change my mind just because he goes crying to the rest of the site because someone dared to challenge his views.

So don't put words into my mouth and start trouble cos i won't take too kindly to it. Now i'm not trying to be nasty but i've had a really bad and emotional day and i'm not in the mood for some kiddie ego contest.

I'm just sick and tired of people putting words in my mouth and saying i said things when i said something completely different.
I'm entitled to my own opinion. If he doesn't like it, then ignore it, instead of starting some petty "Oh, lets see how many people i can get on my side than yours"

Dreams are dreams. We all have them, some mean something, some mean nothing.
It's a fun topic, just don't get all serious about it.
My bunny dream was mad and seriously cute, but i don't start wondering that the bunnies getting stuck in cheese meant my life was going nowhere..
Analyse dreams all you want, but don't take it so seriously, those books are written for one purpose and that's *dollar/pound sign*

P.S. I seriously had that dream and had no idea what it came from, have a look and see if what Jeannie said could be anywhere in the book, i'm openminded. Let's agree to disagree.
You can give opinions on what the book says and i'll put in my own two cents on what my mind says =)

Why is this in the writing poetry forum?

Because it was a thread leading off from one of the other threads on here and dreams are a type of poetry in a way.
