Hey! I was wondering if anyone could help me out with writing a thank-you letter. i am having a hard time coming up with ideas! Does anyone have any suggestions or tips? And, it's NOT for a job interview. I am sending it to my friend.

What are you thanking your friend for? A gift? An act of kindness? Just for being there?

Here is an example of a short note that you could go by. Just put in your thoughts and stuff...

    Dear Ann,

I really want to thank you for all the wonderful conversations and thoughts you have had about our family. It means so much to me just knowing that you care enough to take the time out of your day and say a simple prayer or to even go a step further and check in on us.

Your kindness and generosity is unrepayable, but I assure you that your heart fealt actions have not went unnoticed or unappreciated here. I pray that God will bless you and your loved ones just as HE has blessed us through you.

With love and hugs babe ...

I recently had to write one it was both a thankyou and goodbye letter, but it wasn't thanking them for a gift or anything it was more a thankyou for helping me in my life and being there for me, so yeh what is it exactly your thanking them for?

Just speak from your heart. That's the best way.

I agree with the above. It can be hard, I just wrote a friend something and it took me ages because it never sounded right, but in the end what I wrote was from the heart and *shrug* I think she got the message :)

Don't worry Kaitlyn. She definitely got the message. She only wishes she could express how much you mean to her.

Whenever i am writing to someone who i appreciate a lot i always put in quote(s) in what i say to them. i find quotes sum up and explain what simple words cannot. try looking up thankyou and friendship quotes on google.
