American Idol Gives Back...

I don't know how many people watched that, but I definately did. I don't cry for anything, but I caught myself half way there when I saw some of the things people go through. I hate that I can't contribute though. They kept saying, "I'm sure you've got twenty dollars in your back pocket" and all I kept thinking, was 'I've got about twenty cents that I've been saving up for months.' .lol. But it sure inspired me to get going with school and figure out my aspirations. I aspire to be rich, and take care of all these people.
I just wish there was something that I could do sooner than that...
Has anyone done their part for the people of the world here, without having to spend the money they don't have to do so? what did you do?

-or just comment on American Idol Gives Back and what your thoughts on it are. I mostly just want to spread the word that there are so many more people out there, and we are better off than most of them. Count your blessings people!

That show to me isn't the greatest so I don't bother.

I watched a little bit of it, it was indeed sad that people have to suffer like that.

I cried to see the little 12 yr old taking care of his little sister just as if he was her father, all alone in a one room shack, he cried from the heavy load he carries,It broke my heart.

I'm not really a fan of American Idol, but I thought what they did was really nice.

I got teary, and yes...felt bad because I couldn't give them anything.

I would also like to help the children out when I can afford it.

'Tis a goal of mine in life.

I watched Idol also and it's very sad to see what's going on in this world.

If you really want to help there are many ways in which you can and right in your own community, just volunteer and spend your time with children or even adults. Go to your local boys and girls club, a nursing home, a hospital. Check with your city or county and see where you can help out. These kinds of places are always looking for volunteers. It's very rewarding, especially when you see the smiles on those precious faces that you helped put there.

I too watched this american idol gives back and I cried for all those who's lives have changed dramatically. I cry for them so they don't have to cry. I wish that all those people who have been hurt will have a better life and will hopefully wear a smile on there faces. the songs were pretty great too and when I was watching I connected to some and really wanted to help...

"That show to me isn't the greatest so I don't bother."

HOW could you even say that?!?!?!?!?!?!?
It has nothing to do with the show. Its about the people.

I didn't watch it as I'm in Australia.
But Teria told me about it and it was sad.
