Ohh i absolutley love Christmas..it shockens me to see some of these responses!! I am not one of the selfish people who wants gifts..i like celebrating christmas for christs birth and spending time with family..of course we do get and give gifts which im appreciative about anything!! I hate to see people say they worship satan but thats their beliefs ya know..but as for what i want..i want all familys to have a christmas tree and turkey to eat..i want all the blind to see and the deaf to hear..i want people in the hospitals to come home..i want all the soldiers to be sent home to their families...i want so much for the world rather then myself...thats whats on my christmas list! |

Well i guess i should elaberate instead of saying my family is like the brady bunch...lol Christmas around my house is full of decorations snow flakes hanging from the roof, lights all over the place, our tree decorated to the point where you can't see it..lol and happy spirits all around, Christmas eve we usually sit back and whatch movies and eat finger food because i am not allowd to eat meat on christmas eve...its been like that since i was little. But christmas day i am like a little child No joke i go into my mom's and step dad's bed and i do a full fledges cannon ball into their bed at 6 in the morning, when i finally drag them downstairs i have their presents ready for them and i whatch there eyes GLOW....i dont open my gifts until after breakfast...family rule.. but i am not in for christmas for the gifts i love the smell of my house christmas time...i could get a lump of cole and i wouldnt care because everytime i would look at it i would remember that exact day and laugh, christmas to me isnt about gifts, its about my family coming together and spending time that none of us have during the year, and some of them i haven't seen in a year....i also love whatching the my little cousins running to the tree, and putting milk and cookies out for santa....it amazes me that just a few years ago i did the same....nothing is better then whatching a little childs face light up over something you spent hours picking out.....ahhhhh I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!\ |

I am in CA and just about everyone here celebrates Christmas in some way whether they attach any religious significance to it or not. I spend Christmas day with family. Christmas eve I spend with a group of friends, about half of whom are Jewish. Our "traditional" Christmas eve dinner is matzoh ball soup, roast brisket, latkes, vegetables, noodle kugel and rugelah. :-) |
