Quotes Counted As Votes?

I just noticed that some people have quotes and no poems and that they still have a rating... So is this new because I never before realized that votes on quotes counted on your overall rating?!

Do votes only count on your overall rating when you have no poems or when you do? Because my overall rating is only countable for my poems. =s

I still don't see why the quotes have no input in ones overall rating. I mean, after all, this site is called "Poems AND quotes". If there is no significance in giving quotes an overall, what is the importance of the poems having one? This may sound as though I'm contradicting one of my earlier posts, but I'm actually not. I'm just curious now.

Because votes are poo. So are quotes. We actually only call it poems and quotes because it sounded catchy.
