Poisoned Apple please

Friends forever please

FriENDS forever

Winter touched my heart,
As the beating slowed,
Icicles cold to touch,
In everything she glowed,

Her warmth melted all,
But I remained in stone,
This darkness I only knew,
All were taken, all alone,

Colours dripped from my world,
Leaving shades of grey,
It will never be the same,
I knew there was no way,

I had let love go for her,
And she kept it in the dark,
Crimson lakes upon my flesh,
This was my last embark,

Years pass and I still stand,
A mindless form so cold,
Carving deep into the Earth,
Watching as they fold,

He never paid for the pain,
She never tasted blood,
He always got the girl,
And my tears always flood,

Abused girls one by one,
Souls burning to the core,
I'll never believe in love,
And this craft you adore,

We paid in our blood,
Our love soothes your heart,
Your never thought of anyone,
As you ripped us apart,

And you my friend,
A mindless fake,
I lie in wait,
For your mistake.

Poisoned Apple [Acroustic]

Passing by the teacher's table
On the way to my desk
I put an apple down and hope that no one
Suspects.
Only I know -
Not that anyone else cares.
Eating that apple will leave her
Dead

An apple so tasty, dipped in
Poison could only cause
Problems. When we burst out
Laughing, our day
Ends in detention.

"Mix them very carefully"
Tells a lone professor
"You don't want to add too much,
As you see, I'm no hairdresser"

Foreign names of chemicals
All go in and out of my head
Hydrocloric acid,
Mercury and lead

Pouring them into a glass
I guess it's called a beaker
The concoction turns bright green
My attention turns to the speaker

"Don't do that!" the teacher calls,
"You've made such a mess!"
The classmates scuttle to my table
I've caused such distress

My mixture explodes with fierceness
Burning off someone's hair
"Hey, why does her's explode?"
"It just isn't fair!"

The last bell rings
So much for my fun!
I guess it's best to pay attention

I do not see the way I act,

Third period - I used to sit next to Amy Sinclair,
With flawless blue eyes and a head of golden hair,
She'd look over to me every now and then -
Just to catch me looking at her once again.

She'd twirl that golden hair around her finger,
And I can still remember the scent of perfume on her,
Floral - like a bed of roses, and her pearly whites -
When she'd smile at me and it just felt right.

She'd walk with that mini skirt and white tanktop,
Through the hallways and never would she stop -
When I said anything to her, she'd just walk away,
With her lying smile - but her eyes were filled with dismay.

She had stories hidden behind the tears she fought,
And the pain she felt no one would have thought,
But I remember the day she spilled her heart out to me,
She said I was the only one who'd listen, but I couldn't see -

What was really happening, until third period the next day,
When I had to change seats and sit by Sarah McCray,
"A terrible thing happened," is what the teacher said,
And I can remember her face smiling inside my head.

Amy Sinclair - Remembered for her perfect smile,
And her bright blue eyes that were filled with denial -
Her Dad couldn't stand her, he beat her down to the ground,
Choking her, and she faded away without so much as a sound.

Tick Tock Tick Tock
All that fills my mind
Tick Tock Tick Tock
Erasing all my sanity

Minutes moving by like snails,
Teachers droning on and on,
Subjects no one cares about,
But only one more day.

Hours like a turtle crawl
Slowly to some pleasant point,
Crying tears of boredom felt,
Only one more class.

All test papers now turned in,
Crossing fingers, hope to pass,
Seconds left to face,
Then the school bell rings.

Silent halls now filled with noise,
Students running form the hell,
Breathing in the summer air,
Now on holiday!

Eh. I couldn't let you down, Kitty.
I'm not sure I Like it though. I'd like to know what you guys think.. it's for my brother and I'm debating if I like it enough to give it to him.
Anyways. Here it is. =]

Graduation

You step down from the stage, and you think you're done with life,
But there's so much more ahead of you, you've got so much to live for.
No matter where you go, know I'll always be there to help you get by,
I'll give you my wings so you can spread them and learn to fly.
And there's just something about these days that you'll always remember,
A courageous spark in your heart that you will never forget.
You'll leave and be glad, but you'll remember those that helped you every day,
You'll be a much stronger person and now you know which path is your way.
They have supported you through life and all your hardships;
You'll certainly never forget those frightful times.
Know I'm still here to help you through when you need me to get by --
I'll never forget that you're my brother, and you're growing up before my eyes.
It's such a scary thought, submissing to the world and taking that step,
But I know you can do it with or without my hand.

Last Dance

It was the last dance of Senior year -
The air was spiked with hidden fear.
No one knew what tomorrow would bring;
No one knew about anything.

As the music played, notes hanging in the air,
Everyone danced, without a having a care.
The night was young, the moment, right -
Time just stopped putting up a fight.

Everyone was happy, but inside, they were scared -
Knowing in the big world, not everyone cared.
But for one night, all their troubles were washed away;
They couldn't wait to celebrate their special day.

Two kids were separated, away from the rest -
Their eyes were locked, they looked their best.
It was the last of their high school days;
They both had so much to do and so much to say.

Freshman year, they were too afraid to talk;
He'd just stroll by her and he would gawk.
Sophomore year, he finally said hello,
But at that point, he had been too slow.

Junior year came, and Junior year went -
Wishing that she knew what she meant.
But again, he let her go, wishing he didn't,
How was he supposed to show something that hidden?

Finally, he had his chance, and his chance was now;
He just hoped that it was something she'd allow.
The music was playing as he caught her eyes across the room;
He knew he had to make his move, and soon.

He went over to her and asked for her hand -
She looked in his eyes and she did understand.
She had admired him, but never did tell;
She was so broken and afraid of farewells.

He held her close and they finally were two,
No more needed to be said, it was all true.
So at the end of the line, he finally had his chance,
As the deejay played the music to the Last Dance.

I'll see if I can judge this poem within the next few hours.
