Why?

As though I were about to enter heaven,
Or just within the hour condemned to die,
My mind with one fierce thought keeps running over,
With you, and only you, the reason why.
why did you dream about her,
why did you leave,
my heart feels so broken,
I can barely breathe,
I thought you were happy,
and only "in love" with me,
but now I see the truth,
and you never really loved me,
all this time,
why did you lie,
I can't stop crying,
I just want to die,
I hate her with a passion,
and now I hate you,
I just feel so cold,
but what else can I do,

I'm stuck here to feel this way,
yet I don't know why I stay,
I should just die,
why not- no one would care- nor even cry

Eyes of a raven

white stretching across forever
cramped inside an orb of dew
blind eyes seeing all the universe
life is something new

breaking all the boundaries
striving to be free
chipping away at the white shell
finally able to see

so small compared to the world
afraid of what's to come
wings to wet to open
waiting for the sun

hunger is an element
food is needed to survive
days passing in oblivion
at least you are alive

strong enough to try now
all are born with flight
jumping off the edge
hope to be allright

falling is so beautiful
forever into dark
spread your wings and soar
on the world you've made your mark

visions of the planet
as it sinks into cold death
treasure now forever
sweet air with every breath

conquer all your enemies
fight to share you're haven
die singing your song of light
through the eyes of a raven

Sink to the Bloody Floor

Slicing away at my wrists
I start to feel numb
Needing to feel the pain - I
Know I'll never see the sun

Tomorrow is just a fantasy
Only found in dreams

The reality is
Having blood flow from my wrist in streams
Every time I cut

Blood spills from my arms
Loving this feeling
Of self-harm
Only when I do this
Do I feel satisfied
Yearning for more - wanting to

Feel as though I've died
Losing all hope
Of living anymore
On my knees I sink
Right down to the bloody floor.

"Lost Without You...A Song"

Cassini recently discovered that one of the rings of Saturn
is made up of lost radio waves on Earth
You know what that means?
We're being heard

Bought and sold, it began to seem as though
You've always been here
My eyes grab the road
I know you can hear this
I know you read into every word I say
Comb through these messages
Searching for signs that will show you the way
To get inside my head
But they only lead you astray

Tracing the lines of latitude
Across your great and sinous spine,
Locked and lost in your biology
I'm laughing out loud
At just the thought of being alive
I'm running my life into the ground
You don't know how much I've cried

You think that I'm so proud
My future will be bright
But you can never how
Many times I wake up
In the middle of the night
Screaming at my pillow
As an alternative to suicide

And then there's you
Telling me I can really do something for myself
My biggest fan, I never dreamed
I could be a hero to somebody else
I never show my feelings
Because I'm too afraid of losing
But here's a fact I fear you already knew
I would be lost without you

Shrouding ourselves under bridges,
Across railroad tracks or straight to hell,
What's the difference?
Logical mathematics dictates that two can only become one
Through division
So I guess I'm writing this just to say

Looking In The Mirror

She looks in the mirror
hoping to see who she is.
For she no longer knows.
Her thoughts were lost
in the nightmares of her past.

In the glossy reflective glass
all she sees is a stranger.
Once upon a time she thought
her self to be so beautiful
but now all she sees is a shell.

Looking back at her
are the lonely sunken eyes
of a girl abused for far to long.
All she knows is the pain.
That she feels must end.

Throwing the mirror, it hits the floor.
Shattering into small fragments of it's former self,
like her heart did the first time daddy beat her.
There is no more pain for her now
as she bleeds out on the bathroom floor.

She looks one last time into the shattered mirror
as the breath leaves her body and her soul is set free.

Innocence, Thine Eyes Entrance

Innocence, Thine eyes entrance
Bewitching with your solemn glance
Reckless beams of light invade
A soul that stands alone... afraid.

Tender mercies on thy breath
Lashes dipping inside the depths
Holding dear each thought in mind
Teasing smile that captures time.

Distant dreams encase thine eyes
A melody of love collides
Against the sorrow of my soul
Lost in vain so long ago.

Orbs of innocence, you have found
with trickery my heart abound
Forever now, thine eyes are caught
Within my heart that time forgot.

My hand trembles,
As this life draws,
A breath of hatred,
With a mouth of claws,

A gown of whitish blue,
Lies fallen on the ground,
A feathered peaceful beauty,
Never to be found,

Maiming something pure,
As truth turns to gold,
Precious love of nothing,
As young turn to old,

Her skin turned to paper,
Her hair into dust,
A soul trapped in darkness,
As the world turns to lust,

Her dress forever fraying,
As sanity lets fall,
An angel lain in death,
And spirits were to crawl,

The Wick

Strike a match
Watch it glow
Drink of the heat
Taste it slow

Light a candle
Burn the wick
Lay here with me
Come to bed quick

Gaze into my eyes
Stare into their flame
Take my love seriously
Realize this is not a game

As the flame consumes the wick
And the light grows dim
Say with your eyes you love me
Do it at your whim

As darkness blankets your face
The wick and the flame die
For it has served its purpose
It revealed the love in your eye

Fortune

Woman takes hold of her gorgeous baby,
Proud to be a mother of a newborn child.
The doctors take a look at one another,
As the lady sheds her tears, beguiled.

And yet the medics remain all soundless,
Waiting for the moment she sees the defect.
For fear that the mother will lose control,
They will be there, infant they will protect.

As mother uncovers the secret under the cloth;
The doctors wait for the woman's reaction.
The lady counts the fingers, counts the toes.
Her face and smile filled with satisfaction.

Medics states baby is neither male nor female.
As the cheerful mother stares in confusion
The lady points at the baby's male genitals.
Confident that doctors made wrong conclusion.

Stating chromosomes XXXY the baby has,
The medics would all take turns to explain
That the baby she is holding is truly rare.
A baby that both organs it contains.

A hermaphrodites is what the newborn child is,
But mother could not help but stare in disgust.
The lady offers her baby to a doctor.
Knowing her stomach will soon combust.

Woman is truly lucky to have a unique baby,
And yet the baby will be treated as a freak.
Baby will soon try to hide his sexuality;
The baby will soon hide his physique.

I'd wear all the stylish clothes
That are designed with pretty girls in mind
All the low-cut fitted tops
I turn away from every time

If I was born beautiful...
I wouldn't need so much make-up
To try and cover all my flaws
I'd smile knowing it wasn't for me
And bask in admiring applause
