hey Erica, I really don't need you to read/comment on mine, only if you want to. I need help in trying to figure out what category my new poem should go in. its part nature and part sad, but then at the end it's happy (if you know what I mean). anyway, here is the poem:

Leaving Behind Trials and Tribulations (Crimson Cries)

As it snows it reminds me of the crimson cries
Falling to the ground like that of God’s winter tears
Erasing all the lines of wrong paths taken
And trying to delete all the scars and suffering

As I look out the sheer glass window into the backyard
I think of how good my life used to be
Now tears of sadness replace those of contentment
And I have no one to turn to for my grief

I just want to be blissful again
I want to cry clear tears instead of scarlet
I want to know what its like to frolic through meadows
And play hide-and-seek in the abundant woods again

So let this snow slide off my windowsill
Therefore I can see rays of hope and happiness
Shining to give me a cue to spread my wings
And leave all these trials and tribulations behind

Thanks if you can help me figure this out! =]

If you really want my opinion, I think it would be nature, but you are right, it could seen as a metaphor for sadness (sorry i'm doing poetry at school =) So if you want people to think into it, then I would put it into sad...Wow, that is an AWESOME poem, I really like it, sorry it took me a while to respond. I think i'm going to go read some of yours anyway, cuz i really like this one.

hi, hope i'm not bothering any of you.

if you have some time, i've wrote a couple of poems. would love the one called "driftwood" to be looked over, the love ones are hugely flawed but kinda exactly as i mean them to be. but i have no such excuses for "driftwood". thanks for your time :o)
