Hey do you believe in the middle child syndrome? I've read some studies on it, but some of it is kindah true. But I don't know.

As being the middle one out of my siblings, not only that out of my sisters too. Sometimes its hard and easy, but sometimes I can't stand it. And feel like I wish I can escape somewhere and be alone for a while. So it could be true that whoever is the middle child has the syndrome? There is alot to list but heres a couple that i know like for instance...........

-have only close circle of friends
    -quite
    -even tempered
    -organized
    -center of attention

I know theres more, but you can google it about middle child syndrome.

No, I don't. I think some middle child created it for attention, and felt 1% generous, by releasing it worldwide and now all middle children can feel bad for no reason. It's the parenting and siblings, and your life itself, that make you who you are, but YOU most of all. They play a big part but in the end it's you who tells yourself what to do, and at the end of the day, that's your personality. If you have a small group of friends and are quiet or not, it's your personality, not the fact you were born somewhere inbetween. 'Middle child syndrome' I mean really, it's probably just a slang word in another language for 'Hey I actually have no reason to blame my need for drama on anything; but this word, unlike the oldest and youngest siblings, has been created for people like me!!!'. Let it go, it means nothing.

I think that all of us -youngest, middle, and old- have their own different "syndromes", if that's what you wanna call it.

I'm the oldest. My brother is the middle, and is nothing like what you described. It just doesn't seem logical to me.

I don't believe in bipolar and all the other silly mental illnesses. People act differently and it's not always good-- whoooo caress? ANYWAY, My brother is the middle child and he ALWAYS gets the atteniton but he smokes underage and he was a trouble maker... I guess you can make anything into whatever you wanted though. I dunno. Whatever.
