Would this make you Mad?

So one of my friends... sure we don't hang out on the weekends but we talk alot knows why my ex boyfriends broke up with me! And she won't tell me!!

He likes her and I think she likes him back.. but she said she promised not to tell me but still I would tell her if she was in my situation!

Yes I would be mad.

She gave her word and no matter what you need to respect that.

It does not really matter now why he broke up; the fact is that he did and for some reason he does not feel comfortable letting you know.

I understand that it hurts, and yes even angers you, but on the same hand... show your friend respect for keeping a promise that she made.

It might be tearing her up to have to hold her promise, but a person is only as good as their word...

I think that she shouldn`t have told you that much,but think of it this way if she keeps his confidence then she is trustworthy and would probably keep yours too. thats hard to find.

The original poster even said that they aren't really close, they just talk at school. Let it go, if you want to know something about him, you should be asking him, not expecting her to go behind his back and tell you.
