Butterflies.

How do you feel about butterflies.They seem to surround me and mean so much. They float and guide, they make peace look more serene.
What are they?
The only thing that can show how life can go on if you keep flying.

Butterflies are moths in fancy dress =)

You start with an ugly little caterpillar; he can't do much, he just crawls around slowly. But if he works really hard, and eats enough leaves, he will eventually grow into something so incredibly beautiful, and be able to fly away.

Corny maybe, but that whole idea right there^ has inspired me more than any one person has, and given me a very optimistic view on life.

I am infatuated with butterflies, not obsessed, i just like them a lot, they fly so awkwardly like they have no purpose, im sure they have one, but its beyond me, and i just think they rock!, i have 1 tattooed on my wrist, 2 on bookmarks, i used to have a tie full of them, but i'm not a tie guy anymore, i'll cut this short now...butterflies are strangely magnificent and unique....

They control the time stream and events ;)

I like the way that Thomas Harris describes them in The Silence Of The Lambs, that they represent change. Moths, too. I guess I like it because I can think of so many things that can change, that are interesting to watch change. Or maybe I'm just a creep?

As if butterflies needed to be more beautiful, they also represent the archetype (super symbol) of change and the metamorphisis that people can make. Just thinking that these colorful little creatures used to be a "gross" little crawly thing just makes you want to be a better person, yeah?

So what about the poor moths? Just cos they don't shop for the best outfits they get overlooked?

Tasteless...some suggest they are called butterflies because many butterflies are yellow in color, like butter.

Butterflies are beautiful. If you think of it, the transformation they make is utterly amazing. And they can leave behind any mistakes they made, and be anything they want to be.

If a butterfly can make mistakes, that is.

i love them, i have one tattooed up my back on the beft hand side, it reminds me of my gran.

They're pretty to look at. But I have this distinct fear of creepy crawlies. So I try not to get too close.

I never understand why people fear moths yet like butterflies. that's like fearing ugly people!!!! i dont mid moths. except when they eat my clthes... they they diee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol.
