Oh I am sorry. That must suck to have to deal with that. My 3rd grade teacher died when I was in 4th grade and she was really nice it sucked.

A few years back when I think I was in 7th grade, our teacher died from breast cancer. She's been fighting for so long that it was best to not go through anymore pain!

She left a son, with no father, and that and she has a tree donated in her name with a stone looking thing that has her name on it!

Its a really strange and sad feeling having a teacher pass away becoz they are the people who are trying to educate you for your life in front of you. Im really sorry about your loss. If you want to do some kind of memorial, naming something they loved after them is a really nice way to remember them.
I had two of my teachers pass away when i was in primary school, one of them was my auntie who was my art teacher. For her we used to put the flag on half mast every year on her annivercary of her death. The whole school had the day off to go to her funeral which i thought was very respectful and I'm glad they did it.
The other teacher who was one of my teachers commited suicide which was really sad because we never saw it coming as he always seemed like such a happy person. The day it was announced at my school we just had a day where we sat down and talked to each other abuot how we were feeling.
