I'm still waiting from someone to post her part of the story which is promised to do so "tomorrow" which was in fact 2 days ago.

It is good. The rules on the story are:

1. You have to write something that is along the lines of the story (i.e. you have to be serious about it, no off the wall crap)

2. Try to get your spelling and grammar right, cause it is a pain in the rear to go around fixing all of that in Microsoft Word

3. You can't post twice in a row with the story. In other words you have to wait for another individual to post before you can post again.

And yes your part was good.

Well now we just wait for someone to add the next part if someone has not yet

In the past like forever boards we had a store about this guy that came back to his home and everything was burnt down, nothing was left, he went through the town trying to find some one, something, but he only found his wifes necklace were his home once stood. he left the town and found a tree to sleep in. then he went on to seek vengence[sp?] on the people that killed his family and his home land. he found a cave with all of his weapons. and his faithful lioness, Kira, he stayed in the cave for a few nights and then took off with his magickal sword and Kira for the land of the Arninians(i think thats right but not for sure.) and thats about were we left off and we really need to start.

I would but I'm not really fealing very creative tonight. how is everyone? dave I suppose that you are still just a ghost( or just a figment of mine or our imagination(s).)......

Am I the only one confused here? I don't understand what "Not letting it die" means. Maybe thats a stupid question? erm..whatever.

Ok.....let me spell this out for all of you:

1. The purpose of the thread - the thread was originally named "Never Let it Die." A couple of us got bored and started a thread with the intention of never letting the thread die (i.e. make it to the third page and no one caring).

2. Adding what - I started a story to help keep the thread alive. Story is about a fictional man whose life was ruined and is now seeking revenge or some idea of closure. Anyone can add to it, but it has to be somewhat serious (I got sick of the "purple banana" crap). I then take whatever was posted, copy it, and add it to the story which I have as a Word document on my computer. I then edit the submissions and add them in.

3. My state - Some call me a ghost or a figment of the imagination because I come and go as I please, but really don't add anything to the story. I used to, but then life went sour for me, so I've lost a lot of will to do things and I decided to focus more on getting back on my feet that adding to a story.

Land of the Arnanians, thatâ??s where he would find the sweet taste of revenge! He left the cave, looking up at the sun and muttered "It's too late now I shall leave at sun rise tomorrow.â?? Kira stands beside him as he stands in front of the cave, sword in hand.

The morning light tickles its way up the manâ??s face."Time to get ready Kira". Taking off the blood soaked robe he has worn for days on in now, he goes to take a bath in the stream next to the cave. The gentle caress of the water is unable to soothe this mans taste for vengeance. Kira is able to sense this and tries to soothe her master's madness by a slow low purr of play. "not going to work Kira he will die, they will all die" Kira retreats back into the solitude of the cave....

He feels bad for repulsing his beloved Kira, she is the only thing he has left in this world except for his inherited weapons. He however just isn't in the mood to play, his wounds are stiff and he knows he must heal before he can set off for vengeance. The hole in his heart begins to ache again and he clutches his chest and gasps for air. The pain finally subsides after a little while, he is becoming hardened to them however.. the pain is becoming less and less. He is slightly afraid of going numb, but at the same time he thinks the relief from the flood of emotions will be a relief. He finishes washing himself and dresses and goes back into the cave to sit with his back against Kira, stroking her fur gently.

He returns to the cave and dresses himself with his weapons, and of course.....The Sword. As Kira lies in the cave on a large stone bed, he calls for her to come, "Kira, we must go find them!" she jumps up and runs to him, they walk out of the cave. They walk toward there destanation, both hoping that they can avenge his families death!

The quiet crunch of their footsteps are the only sound that lets the forest know there is life among the trees. Kira seems on edge. The man knows something is wrong. They aren't alone in the forest, however whatever else is hidden among the trees is a mystery. He isn't sure what to think of it. The green, freshness of the forest is almost hypnotic in it's rythmn, but the man is determined not to let it lull his senses.

Hahaha.. not by my standards.. I'm considering it lucky I even have been able to get on to do anything at all. So how are you Dave? It's been too long.

I'm alright. Starting to get into the school groove, so my availability to be on this website will be decreased even more. How are you? Marching band treating you well?

�Kira do you think we are alone� the man utters underneath his breath so its only audible to kira.
She makes a deep growl from the end of her throat the man takes that as acknowledgement. � then looks like we are going to have some decent�fun then eh� He so gently sighs against the caressing winds. All the sudden the man�s sword blocks a jagged looking arrow from the top of the forests canopy.
�KIRA GET THAT ONE I GOT THE REST� the man yells in a deep sort of growl. Kira leaps upon the nearest branch leading into the canopy above, purring as she moves along seemingly enjoying her next kill.

Well I'm glad school is treating you well Dave. Although I'm sad you won't be on as much. Marching band is running me ragged, although today should be the last show unless the football team goes to playoffs, which I'm hoping they don't. We only have one game left, but that's just Band Night, with the little kids who can't march anyway. ^^

Well Danielle, there is a bit of a problem with that then. If you don't post, I can't edit. If I can't edit, then no one gets a final copy of the story. Makes sense?

Kira pounces upon the first soldeir. A batttle of what seemed like a thousand men against one. The heated battle continued for what seemed like days, untill the final soldeir was all that was left. The man struck at the last soldier but he said "Wait! I know where your family is..." there was a long silent pause. "Well isn't that what your fitting for, Isn't that what you want the most, to find your family!" The man let out a quick groan "HMPH" silently but rughley that man tied up the sodier and drug him down the road. "Wait, what are you doing? Where are you taking me?!" He exlaimed struggling to escape the tight ropes and restaints.

My goodness this thread is about as dead a a cemeterey! or road kill! OMG this is so tottally empty, this place used to ge full of fun and laghter but now it's like the masque of the red death visited this thread. Allright you touched this thread with there black thumb!

The man growled at him to shut up. The flailing solider fell quiet and quit struggling and resigned himself to the fact that he could not escape the man and his lion. They traveled through the woods to a small, unobtrusive cave. Upon dragging the man inside it he propped him up against the back of the cave and ripped off his blindfold.
"How do you know me?" He growled at the man. The coward quivered.
"I..I... don't know you in particular... I" the man stuttered.
"SPIT IT OUT"
"I seen you in the village the day my commanding officer ordered us to burn it and kill all the inhabitants" he blurted, obviously terrified. The man glowered at him
"Why were you ordered to burn the village?" he asked, suspicion thick in his voice.
"I don't know, I'm just a private!" the solider said, cowering as if he were going to be struck. The man contemplated this for a little while, until..
"If you are just a private, how do you know about my family?"
