Hey, sorry, this might be a bit offensive, but I really have no idea what a "bi" is. I mean I know it has to do with gender and all that, but can you please explain it to me? I also have no idea what a GSA is. Could you explain that too? |

In the world of bi-sexuals, when they call themselves bi, the would simplify things like they had relationship/sex with either girl or boy... |

I think it depends on who the person is...if they claim to be bi but have never been in a relationship with someone of the same gender, they may still be attracted to them sexually. Which in that case I don't see them saying they are bi as wrong. |

Well, painted persona. i'm bi. but to me, people are just people when it comes to attraction. i dont prefer a gender, i just find attraction within both depending on the person rather than vital organs. it's like that for some. |

Homosexuals should not need an alliance to live in our society I find it sad that you do. All humans should have the same rights as another and should not be looked down upon for their sexual preference. |

Wow, smack a positive with a negative. I was being all nice for a change and I get little missy here giving me the anal. If you join the group and alienate yourself is it going to make it any better? People need to be made aware, not hiding in some club :) |

Don't you see? the Gay/Straight alliance IS making people aware. It's not a place to hide...if it was it'd just be the Gay alliance. It's a place to feel welcome and accepted, by both Gays and straights alike. And if it's aleinating anyone, it's the people who don't accept the gay/straight alliance and are against same sex relationships... |

Meh, Canada has a great policy to same sex marriages, it's legal. |

My best friend and this girl (both gay) started the "True Blue" movement last year at our school and people reacted to it very well. they started responing to how the gay society felt without a voice. and the teachers said it was so much of a big arugement that they had to stop it. but the student body was like " they should be able to have a voice like the rest of us" because after the two who started it was slient for the whole day until school got out for the summer no lie, becasue they felt as they were be slient because of their sexuaility. |

Being 34 I think its great that there is so much more support and understanding. Many years ago you were treated like a leaper and people were bashed up. The risks are still around but no where as risky as it was. |

It's such a sad thing that society won't accept GSLT people... we're all people, so I see no problem. We just ... like different things. ^^ |

If you think you guys have it bad, trying coming and living in South Africa, where if you even *mention* that you have gay *friends* they'll kill you. Especially if you're white. Sadly, racism and homophobia have never really gone away over here. I'm straight, and still living in fear simply because I have gay friends. Now I can't even imagine what my friends are going through. At least you guys have organizations like GSA -- things like that don't exist over here. |
