Musical Talents

I'm just wondering if you guys play an instrument. If so, which one, and how long have you been playing it?
Add any other stories relating to this topic.

Currently I play the guitar. I'm using an older acoustic right now, but would really like to move up to an electric model (I was thinking maybe a Gibson SG - Im an Angus fan).

I like to fiddle with neoclassical scales and sounds (example: The Bard's Song by Blind Guardian).

I've been playing around a year. I'm no Jimi yet, but I'm working on it ^^

I play the piano and the guitar....I've been playing....um...the guitar for a while (I'm still not too good) and Taking piano lessons for a couple months.

Piano, Violin, Guitar, and Drums. All from ages 7-8.

I manipulated music by combining two soundtrack instrumentals together and making it sound like one long song. Does that count? :P

I guess those could count. They DO have to do with music afterall.

...everyone plays guitar, it honestly not that hard to learn.

I've got Grade 8 Practical for Piano ABRSM and Grade 5 for theory for Piano ABRSM. Grade 5 practical for classical guitar. But my main instrument now is electric guitar. Own an Ibanez RG-470-ti and Marshall MG 15CDR amplifier. Going to get a MT2 Boss Metalzone. Started out with rhythm. Able to play rhythms for songs such as Expendable Youth by Slayer, Trooper for Iron Maiden and such. Able to play lead for Fade to Black by Metallica, most of Canon in D, Dying in Your Arms by Trivium and such.

I sorta play piano, but I really love to sing. Thats musical. :) I sing in the choir at my school! It is so fun! I have been in my school choirs for about 4 years. 3 in middle school and one so far in high school!

I love it, but I lack any sort of talent for it, but it's fun sometimes

I used to play the claronet but i gave it up last year, i played it for 3-4 years, but now i want to learn to play the guitar, i just love the sound any guy with a guitar has my heart... as long as they play good :P

Used to play the violin, and the clarinet.

I write songs and occasionally perform as a solo artist and also as a member of a duo.

I play guitar, piano, bass - and a teeny bit of recorder, just for fun! :-D

I've been a drummer for three years, played piano since i was six, and I also sing well.

I play the guitar and Viola. I have three guitars (two acoustic, one Electro) and my one Viola. I named the Electro; Mr. V and my Viola, Katastrophe (Kat for short)

Hey, that's cool. You play the viola..my name is Viola (though not after the instrument. lol)
You know what's funny? Everyone always asks me if I play the violin..not the viola, the violin. It doesn't make sense to me. Lol. And actually I don't play ANY string instrument.
I should maybe learn how to play the viola though. It would be intresting.

Myself, I play the clarinet. I've been in school bands for years now. Started playing clarinet at the end of grade six..so that's about 4 and a half years, though it's always been on and off. I haven't played in a while actually..and I really should get back into it.

I would LOVE to play the piano. I think it's one of the accomplishments I have in life: learn how to play the piano.
If my friends have a piano in their house when I go over that's the first thing I run to. lol =]

Anyways, I love hearing all of your special talents. Music is amazing. =]
