Someday We'll Be Free

No doubts about this life,
It's where we're meant to be,
Giving up on fear,
And learning to be free.

Pain, it clouds the mind,
If you never let it go,
Don't let the bad things fester,
It's how the dark does grow.

Trust you know what's right,
You hold a voice inside,
Don't let others break you,
Never run and hide.

Being who you are,
It's not an easy task,
Especially for those of us,
Who live behind the mask.

But what else do you have?
What else can you give?
A false facade, such nothingness,
It is no way to live.

Break free from your jailer,
Conformity comes with cost,
Be unafraid of who you are,
Before all hope is lost.

Before death falls upon your step,
Regret knocks on your door,
Do not be the one who hears it,
Calling evermore.

The caged bird sings for all it longs,
Only free in mind,
Find the strength you hold inside,
Break the ties that bind.

Strewn backwards in the breeze
Glossy browns and blacks and whites
They all do as they please

Throwing caution over their shoulders
Galloping into the West
Kicking up all the dusty stones
With carefree spirits and zest

Now are these wild creatures real
Or are they our hopes and dreams?
Are they really thundering through our heads
Is nothing what it seems?

They stand for joy and freedom
These wild horses that we chase
They show us all how life could be
If we gave up this pointless race

The sounds of their hoofs echo
In most every mortal mind
Reminding us of love and hope
And what freedom we could find

Caged Bird.

Trickled tears, they fall down velvet cheeks,
caressing palms of roughened skin a`bleak.
Tired faces drowned in grief burn deep within,
- - sympathy succeeds each intolerable sin.

-

Come my friends of feeble and dead minds,
run paths of lonely nights- being left behind.
Count the stars tonight, thrown about the sky;
so jumbled letters match death that tend to die.

There's a mystery within each breath, burning.
It runs through-out each bloody vein a`churning.
As reminders of our life slowly yet rapidly perish:
and a caged bird is something we shall never miss.

You Don't Know My Name.

Turn to your left,
die to your right.
Bow to the guy
you're loving tonight.

You don't know my name,
inscribed within your
lovely, horrid pain -
dying so slowly .

There's not much left
in this terrifying world,
just a few more hours
and an unheavenly sword.

With cancer spreading,
and diseases galore -
I can hear it in your voice;
"Follow me forever more"

You false teachers of unknown words,
burning within my sweaty palm -
You don't seem to know my name
in this terrifying and deadly world.

Sweet Music

She will dance upon the moonlight,
And forget the world around her,
The music entering her body through every pore,
Awakening her senses.

In her heart she could dance forever,
Caressed by every beautiful note,
Soothing the deep scars,
That once burned throughout her soul.

No words are needed,
Just a beautiful melody,
Demanding poetic movement,
Drawing her body into a warm embrace,
Calming her weary mind.

These moments seem effortless and comforting,
For her music doesn't lie,
It comes from raw emotion,
Untouched by the tongue of lies,
Almost pure.

Nothing in life has been as reassuring,
Or consoled her quite as well,
These nights spent consumed by her love,
The happiest moments of her life.

A world without music would be like,
A world without sun,
No growth, no love,
No real and true emotion to ease her troubled mind.

So much understanding would be lost,
The moonlight would disappear,
Her heart would break,
Her soul would shatter,
Life would seem so grim.

A passing thought she would rather forget,
Because she could never imagine,
Not being able to dance in the moonlight,
And forget the world around her.

Dreamer

There's talk about a song,
A song about how wrong,
A dreamer is when they are wishing,
For the love to be written in their story.

Church bell rings,
The choir sings,
Songs of sadness,
In a deathly tone.

Snow covered the ground,
A girl's mind unwound,
Of the past she once had,
The past of a dreamer.

She ran in a field of flowers
Butterflies rained in showers,
In the meadow of dreamers,
Where dreaming begins.

Light surrounds her while she sleeps,
Under a willow that weeps
A wind wisps through the tree,
As gently as it can.

Now she lies underground,
Where there isnâ??t and sound
To comfort her sweet soul
That is ascending.

This is the story,
About a lover's broken love,
Where dreamer's dreaming
Ends.

Rearview Mirror

Vulnerability watches in vein while reckless decisions ruin precious moments
An apology was never requested, nor accepted, but it was given anyway.
Why bother pretending when false truths are placed on every corner?
Common misconceptions give way to artificial forgiveness, as they say.

Suppose betrayal was somewhat rare, then would it be less excusable?
Immunity to unstable situations makes perfection difficult to comprehend.
Friendship found in the summer was lost in winter's unforgiving days,
Provoked by promises laced with lies; deceit becoming the latest trend.

Memories reflect in rear-view mirrors, blinding eyes of the sympathetic,
Piercing holes in hearts of naive souls, a lesson learnt none the less.
Trust seems to be a giveaway in hats knee deep with potential sorrow,
Pick a winner, or a loser, and hope luck doesn't run out in the process.

Fire burns in hearts of gold; melt, shape, reform to a customised fit,
Failure by design continues down the line, originating from bad influence.
Deception makes the world go round, along with money and greed,
Success is given to the one who finds a genuine healthy balance.

I dedicate my breathing to these enchantments,
giving a piece of me to divine collage
of souls intertwined with pure magic;
pulse of rhythmical spell is trapped in my veins.

Alone in the whole world musical Goddess and I;
she's my mistress, holding my heart on the palm.
From the back's growing new pair of wings,
severing then healing my bruised soul.

Showers of emotions wash away negativity,
coloring gray canvas of this rainy day;
melody's shaping in front of my dreamy eyes,
unwinding secrets forgotten yet majestic.

To wipe away thy tears
Or perchance a dewdrop
The eve cries in thy stead
As daybreak lights the swap

Every day spent glaring listlessly into space
Melancholy now consuming this aching soul
Feeling my entire life has become such a waste

Nevr Felt This Way Before

Spite gleaming within these eyes
Rage coursing through these veins
Thinking constantly of revenge
Beginning to feel so insane

Picturing your complete destruction
has become my favorite fantasy
One day soon, I'll unleash this wrath
And set this uncontrollable anger free

After everything we've been through
Never thought that it would end in hate
With every cruel thing you said or did
You unknowingly chose your fate

Every Little Bit Hurts
Thought if i stood in the rain ,
it would soothe this agonizing pain ,
I thought it would be easy to love and then let go .
never knew my heart would burn so slowly and ...hurt so ,
Im beginning to realize that every little bit hurts ,
and with time the pain just gets worse,
unable to decide if i should hate you for making me cry ,
or love you for making my life feel so right ,
It feels like im unable to say goodbye,
trying to be strong ,
trying not to cry ,
trying to walk away ,
I know i can't stay ,
maybe me and you...
we could try again another day ,
whose to say we couldnt make it ?
whose to say it aint meant to be ?
I just gotta let go so I can do me ,
i hope you can understand ,
hope we can still be friends,
hope this isnt the end ,
EVERY LITTLE BIT HURTS ,
Just take this as a lesson learned ,
In this moment called life.

And this path you`ve stumbled off on,
I hope it leads you straight through,
