3/6 FOB - Ends 1st Jan '08

Ok. Should be easier now, lol

This is the third of six contests. All using titles taken from the three Fall Out Boy albums.
I will be judging each contest separately, so there will be winners and HM's who will receive comments and then there will be an overall top three when all the contests are done who will win the biggest prizes.

Now you don't have to enter all six contests to win the top prize, (although you will have a bigger chance) You just have to blow me away with your talent. =)

Each contest will have twenty titles. The first two will be from the first album, the second two from the second album and the last two from the third album. So i will be using a lot of titles to choose from =)

Not a lot of rules..

1) Try not to swear, it's allowed but no over the top cursing.
2) Try to keep profanity to a minimum. I don't mind it but don't write a porno, lol
3) If you write a specific format, explain it when you're finished
4) Can be old or new, i don't mind but impress me =)
5) Max of three poems per person and a max of three poets per titles (towards the end, this may be increased so keep an eye out if a title you like is full)
6) Have fun.

I've always wondered
What it would be like to be you.
Wondered what it would feel like
To do the things you do.

You play games
With people's minds
You play these games
With no remorse of any kind.

You break hearts,
Destroy lives too.
Oh, what I'd give
To, just for one day, be like you.

I'd take your soul
And tear it apart.
And all that will remain
Are shattered pieces of your heart.

You will feel
As if you you're about to die.
Oh, you will beg for the end
And that is no lie.

Sometimes I wish I knew
Just how to be so oblivious.

I'm Just a Notch on Your Bedpost; You're Just a Line in a Poem

Your first words
Still ring strong in my head.
I still remember that feeling
When I heard the words you said.

I couldn't believe that you
Would want someone like me.
I was so blinded by emotion
That you were all I could see.

Things went well
For a short while.
Every time you looked at me
My heart would gently smile.

But then when you told me
That you no longer want more
I didn't know what to do -
I suddenly felt like a wh*re.

Did I ever mean anything to you,
Or was I always just scratch on your wall?
Did you lead me on like this,
So you could eagerly watch me fall?

My feelings for you
Were always real.
You just have to read all my poems
To understand how I feel.

Your bedpost is full of notches,
That I now see.
I guess that last one
Was the notch representing me.

Am I More Than You Bargained For Yet?

There's ten beds in the room
Just like her very own
Filled with ten children
Waiting on a home

She's been there five years
Going on six
The people she stays with
Don't seem to stick

There's always a reason
She won't fit the bill
The void in their life
She just didn't fill

So when a young couple
Picked her up in their car
She didn't expect it
To get very far

But as the months passed
And the talk never came
Telling her life would go back
To being the same

She felt the need to ask
What kept the delay
How long would they let her
Think she could stay

Am I more than you
Bargained for yet?
When will you tell me
I'm not what you expect

The tears were falling
She didn't want to go
That was a feeling
She'd never known

They looked down at her
With love-filled eyes
And asked if she'd stay
For the rest of her life

She fell into their arms
And tears turned to laughs
Because she knew now
There was no going back

Blame everyone but me for this mess

The Way Your Make-Up Stains My Pillowcase

Beautiful girl, I'm falling
Head over heels - it's a mess
The way you move your body...
Well it puts me in distress

Designer bag and perfect hair
Oh how it makes my young heart race
I would love you even more so
Without your lovely painted face

Beautiful girl, you're a trip
Like acid freaks on a purple high
And I see that you've chosen me this time
Sometimes I wonder why

Step by step, inch by inch
You exude glamour, heat, and poise
Out of your mouth comes all the right things

The Poets Are Just Kids Who Didn't Make It

A turbulent ocean of sapphire words
Majestic ribbons threading our souls
We are few and far between
Somewhere between the golden sands of Egypt
And the rustic scent of the West
Living on the tops of mulberry trees
Our clothes are stained with the blood of fruit
The interesting facet of a dark and dirty secret
Do not claim to know the depths

Deep across the sweetly treasured valley
A maze is swiftly carved for us to follow in
Black trenches the hue of obsidion
Take us for a ride on magenta stallions
Flying away, yes, we are chained free
Life is but leather whipping at our backs and calves
Red and purple welts smile at us with evil grins
And though our white horses start to soar
Our sins ingrained in the downtrodden Earth

So name-calling is not a necessity
Expression is merely a game for many
The extravaganza can only really boil down to the fact

This night is melting down bastions of the heart,
mellow hues of paleness slowly retrocede
in front of the smile sketched on tinted face...
Gentle rhythms of nocturnal symphonies tie lives.
Near sensual, pearly lips the zephyr whispers lies
weaved inside my complex, dark intentions.
Between the walls of silence celestial notes blaze,
pulsing with igniting emotions, possessing innerness.
Delicate words are being carved into facets of eyes
endless, colored with molten gold and smiling suns.

This was suppose to be about love but i had a change of hearts, then, I made another which seems to be different, lol, enjoy!

Don't ever mutter a single phrase
Stay still and remain your mouth shut
I love your tears when they put to waste
Leave you bleeding as I inflict another cut

Everyday you bleed down your blood stained floor

Your Best Kept Secret and Your Biggest Mistake

I ripped myself apart from my spine to my heart,
Hoping that you would always be here to save me,
But the actions I took were wrong from the start,
And now that I`ve hit the ground, I can finally see.
I Had my head in the clouds for far too long,
Living off of empty promises and broken down dreams,
I held my composure, stood up tall and strong;
Sewing the rips and tears catching along my seams.
[I almost ran out of thread just a time or two,
Trying to repair the cuts to my heart that were made by you,
They were deep, cut right down to the bone,
All because you showed me what it felt like to be alone.]

The bottle covered all of the mistakes you committed with me,
Because according to you, "no one in their right mind would",
