nooooo, don't use the weekly contest as a gauge for how good your poems are... some of the best poets on here have never won the weekly contest...

the weekly contest is just kinda there, i dont usually even pay attention to it, so dont worry if you get it or not

yah, i know how it works and everything. but do they go around and read all of the poems, or just read the ones in the top rated box, does any1 know?

how it WAS:

it was based on how many votes and the rating... the three highest rated (with a certain number of votes) won

how it IS:

the moderators suggest poems to each other and we vote on them
