Hmm.. good suggestion. But have you ever read any of Mark Spender's poem? I definitely think he deserves to be a winner of the weekly contest.

But that is my opinion. =)

I believe there are quite a few underrated poets on this site.

I think that is a good idea. I come across many poems that dont get any votes at all even though they are fantastic. I think it is important that we try to look for new poets and not just the ones we know of, through doing this i have found many a great poets.

I think it's a good idea, but I don't think only well known poets should have a chance
