    Your Hand in Mine (Monorhyme)
    by Italian Stallion

    Let's have some wine,
    And dine really fine
By the scent of mountain pine.
    Our bodies now intertwined,
    Your hand in mine
    As candle lights shine
    And we combine.

    Poor Man's Memory

Though you can see no wealth,
    It's hidden deep inside,
    He never needed money,
Or that sense of evil pride.

    Thankful for all given,
    He walked the winding line,
Freed from all the silly things,
    That leave us in decline.

His child's laughter worth as much,
    As money is to you,
Arms of strength to hold her tight,
To show her what is true.

    Nostalgia found within the sun,
    Happy just to live,
    Solace found within a breeze,
    Love is his to give.

He never worries what will come,
    He's always made it through,
The less you have, the more you fight,
    To keep what touches you.

Ehh...It didnt turn out as I wanted.
Its has like an entirly different meaning, but I was trying some form I havnt used before, and accidentlly messed that up somehow creatning a new form and a new poem.

    hmm
    original form: 5-7 5-7 5-7 5-7-7
    my form: 5-7-5 5-7-5 5-7-5 5-7-7

    After all have gone
    Beneath the wooden staircase
    Their sounds disappear.

    Alone on your bed
When I look into your eyes
    I remember why.

    I kiss you again,
    And fall deep into your heart;
    Afraid just to breathe.

    The way you love me
And the way you look at me
    Only when we are alone.

Six Days At The Bottom Of The Ocean.

    Storms come by night,
    creating hell in the day.
    Parenthood never ends,
    nor does love go away.

    Experiences last so long,
    yet fear's never do end.
    Cherished memories die,
    along with each friend.

    But, it's not true death,
where they leave not a thing -
they've left us with their heart
at the bottom of the food chain.

    Ready to be captured, and
We think it's six feet below,
our minds tell us such lies.
    Truly life's just moving slow,
since no one can hear . . .
    the sea horses gurgled cries.

Tired Eyes, Tired Minds, Tired Souls, We Slept

Insignificance fills expanses of former tinted heartbeats,
    misplacing tenderness, striving to taste bitter feelings;
Do you want me to draw bleeding sentences for you to see?
tired eyes... vision's blurred once again.

Dehydrated words explode inside of shivering fantasies,
throwing stones through silky sound barriers, spilling
misinterpreted illusions over my intoxicating notions...
    tired minds... thoughts cause riots.

Caskets locked with tamed confessions bathe in spider-webs
    as my entity craves for just one more sip of your revolutions;
do you want me to get high on darkened lies tonight?
tired souls... tied to broken vindications.

    Connections mislead temptations, distances wound senses;
Near to the abysses of stoned sacrilege, we break ourselves,
using unseen implements forged by faceless shadows.
we slept... lullabies still echo over voids.

Have You Passed Through This Night?

Words incomplete line my bedroom walls,
moans and groans and scratches, early morning calls -
Buildings burning down from the fire within,
shaving every body part in order of lust to win.

Screaming words of wisdom straight to my heart,
so you can be a hypocrite and rip it so slowly apart.
Fiddling with what's left of me, it seems you have the lead.
Yet, I'm sitting here with arms wide open continuing to bleed.

Charming looks and smiles calm my angry heart,
as childish giggles and laughs take me to the start -
Recalling everything we had, just makes things all right -
For, I only have one question -
Have you pass through this night?

I've had trouble in the past, letting things go.
But, somehow you've changed my ways to show ...
My heart's ready for disaster, whenever it may come.
For, I'll live not for my past, nor where my pain came from.

Greet deathby Silhouette of something unimaginable

    Our days are numbered
    slowly time ticks away
    never too fast,
    just often unnoticed.
    big moments pass by
    a baby's first steps
    graduation
    child baring
    all a cycle
    a new thing comes
    an old thing goes
just like the green leaves of spring
    alive and flourishing
    then one day things slow
    swiftly death consumes a leaf
only seasons of life is held
    for some years
    but eventually all go
    just like people
life is fast, gone and over
like the leaves of a maple in the fall
but for others it is long
fulfilling like the needles of the pine
    but eventually, my friends,
    death consumes us
    there is no stop
    all is inevitable
    like nature
    greet death
    openly,
    for no matter the place
    it will find you
    just remember
    openly and welcoming
    greet death

    Memorial

A timeless place, set in timeless stone
Peaceful and proud, a mind of it’s own
You can be surrounded, and yet still alone
Remember the foolish. Remember the brave.

Whispering memories blow through the trees
Swaying gently in the calm evening breeze
Setting the wanderers minds at ease
Remember who they lost their lives to save.

    Silent, sincere, uniformed and dire
Simple minds, with hatred to inspire
Courage and determination I can only admire
As I live, I remember those who lay in their grave.

Six Days at the Bottom of the Ocean

Turquoise is the distance that binds our souls
trapped above saffron fields soaked in liquid words.
Inky traces mark hearts laced with silky ribbons,
that blow echoing silence like dandelion seeds.
Clocks tick backwards, highlighting starless nights
arched over our glassy ocean sanctuary.
Reflections of molten emotions spill over sighs
plunging tied existences into endless blue expanse.

Have You Passed Through This Night?

This dark room closing in on me,
    And I feel like I can't breathe.
    Hiding in this small closet,
I hope you don't find me.

    You come into the room,
    Looking around for me.
I sense you know I'm in here,
    Hiding in a small place.

You shuffle every place in the room,
Trying to find me anywhere you can.
I'm praying to God that you don't find me,
So you won't do this to me tonight.

Soon you look across the room
    Straight to the closet,
    From behind the blinds,
I sense you looking straight at me.

You opened the door and pull me out,
The throw me in the bed and you start kissing me.
Can't you see this is hurting me,
Or have you ever passed through this night?

It's hard to believe you know how I feel,
Where you're deep inside of me.
I feel suffocated under your cage,
    Fearing of never coming out.

After the night has passed and you did what you had to,
You call me names and say I'm a waste of time.
What I'm really trying to understand,
Is why can't you just leave me alone?

    Moon is Down (Acrostic)

    Sleepless thoughts of cotton groves
    Inside locks of treasure troves
    Lapping at the silent coast
Evil raises its glass to toast
    Night that endures forever long
    The eternal midnight song

Never smiling the moon is down
    Injured by the haunting sound
Glad to hide behind cosmic worlds
    Hopeful dreams cannot unfurl
    This deadened eve of desire
    Silent nights lost in fire
