Rock Band

So today i played rock band for the first time...it was totally awesome..i played the drums and i was surprisingly good!! And my friend got it for her dads birthday...Yes my friend got rock band...and it was her DADS birthday...lol

Wait a minute...what the hell is this about? I'm confused. Are you in a rock band or not?

Is rock band one of those computer generated illusory world games? Like when people are wiping their cars or playing golf, except they're not cos they're only holding a remote control thing?

Yeah...rock band is a play station..x box game...you play the drums but there not real drums and the guitar isn't real...maybe someone else should be explaining this

Rock Band is indeed a game for Playstation and Xbox 360. It allows you to create rock musicians and clothe them. You play at shows to get money and buy all the killer kits and guitars you want. It has four positions available:

Microphone - Notes scroll across the screen (top if playing with others, bottem is it's solo) with indications of pitch and the like. If you sing well you get points and possibly a 'phrase' streak.

Drumset - A metal and plastic drum kit that you can assemble. It has four pads for the snare, cymbal, and such. It also features a kick pad for the bass. Notes scroll vertically down the screen and as each one crosses a certain point (indicated by a small coloured line) you must hit the coloured pad that corresponds to the coloured line.

Guitar - A plastic guitar with ten frets (five if using the old school Guitar Hero guitar, my personal preference) and like the drums the notes scroll down the screen and you must hit the fret button and strum as the coloured note hits the coloured line.

Bass Guitar - See above.

Rock Band kicks major ass I Wish i could play it every day, unfortunately only my friends own it not me, I wanna buy it though.

Yeah it almost like real life.

I don't get it, play games to be an Elf, or a dragon or some such utter fantasy thing you could never be or do in real life..sure I get that.

But you can all join or start a band, even if you can't play anything...just call it punk and have at it.

Yaaah that game is like heroin.
