Help needed !! anyone good with maths ?

Ok so i have a question
ive spent a few days trying to solve it but i just cant do it :(
so if anyone is good with maths, i was hoping if you could help me :)

question:
Samuel is rowing with a constant speed towards a certain place
he has marked on his map. With the aid of a current (which has
a speed of 2 km/h) it takes him only 1 h 20 min to reach his
destination. However, on the way back he has to row against the
current and it then takes him 4 h to reach his starting point. Find
Samuel’s speed on the still water.

^ correct. Though I reckon, technically, the speed should be slower on the way back. Going against the current should surely be harder than rowing in still water?

So 1 km/h ?
but the back of the book where the answer is says the answer is 4 km/h :(
