Beyond

Beyond the dawn of tragedy
she beckons the ships ashore,
creating icebergs out of spit-storms
and painting waves in Titanic's name

Beyond the dusk of euphoria
she whispers shadows unto the holy,
and yearn for piety and truth to blend
while still being cloaked in dishonesty

Beyond the midnight of energy
she annihilates all movement
in favour of the acolytes blissful
experiencing a colourful lethargy

Beyond the status quo of self-destruction,
she loathes herself but this world even more -
she writes her name on tombstones infinite,
preaching vanity to the blind

Beyond the twilight of all life,
she dances with fiends and ghosts:
she laughs and cries with demons,
longing for her breathing nevermore.
