Freedom in an Odd Way

by Jeff Weiner   Apr 15, 2015

He smiled as the blood ran down her chest
Remembering how she hurt him,
Not knowing how it happened
But he couldn`t stop watching,

Losing track of time just standing there
As the blood slowly stopped running,
Now that she wont abuse him more
An ease crept into his soul,

Who was this nameless one that laid there
Representing the torture he received,
Not that it matters much at this point
As long as she was gone,

Just then he awoke in peace
Feeling that a weight was lifted,
All it took was an evil dream
To let him release a wicked past
