DREAM$

by Agit X   Feb 4, 2015

Dreams, they run on
Like sentences fragmented
But familiar enough to return
Back in your mind
During your sleep
So you function, still,
As these thoughts, ideas, and feelings even, linger
And intervene
Pass by
And sometimes stay there long enough
They get you to think
For better or for worse
They show you
The visions, the others might call disillusioned
But it isn't all false images of utopias nor is it all peaceful
It's as real and cruel as can be,
But no matter the turmoil,
It won't ever
be
harsher than reality.
Remember that.
So do your best to live,
And to dream.

And you'll be okay.
Especially when life goes on.
You will be fine, dreamer, in this world.
